Ok, I will be as objective as possible. I was really looking forward to this album - but I am on the fence here. PROS: New album and songs from the band...some songs are good and some are lacking pazzaz. CONS: Two songs are reused/revamped from the "Thank You...Goodnight" album (we figured they would), the production and recording is very mono (IMO)...this album sounds like a polished set of demos than a high quality production...reminds me of their re-record Greatest Hits. Good cd - not great!

What a great comeback album from one of the best hardrock bands! The title of the album tells it all! Great ballads, great rockin' songs , this is the best Great White could do in year 2007! One of the best releases of the year.

Agree the best they can do in 2007....True Rock N Roll Survivors...Drugs, Alcohol, Bad Management, Breakups, Tragedys, Backlashes and Jack & the boys are Back To The Rhythem...Reminds me of 'Let It Rock'-Just straight ahead rock and blooze that should be treated as a testiment to rock and roll survival!! Yeah its no classic but a decent rock record 80/100

This is a good solid return. It's taken a few spins to slot into place, but I'm really digging it. Great to put on the stereo when you just want a smooth peice of rock n'roll. Not too in your face, but just good, enjoyable tunes. One of my faves of the year, and a good solid return for a great band.

Wow, I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying this disc. I'd all but written off GW by the early 90s (not to mention that I thought the tragic Station Nightclub disaster had ruined their music for me for all time) but BACK TO THE RHYTHM turned out to be one helluva comeback record. Nice work fellas.

As stated a great Comeback record and a top 5 for 2007 for me..smooth grooving hard rock...great playing...great songs...sit back and grab a cold one.

If you like mellow than this is the Great White album for you. Sounds like Audie just brought his hi-hat, snare and a single crash. No more killer double bass licks and the awesome drum beats of yesteryear. Jack is still a fine singer but the music is lacking any kick. If they make another album lets hope it is in the vein of Let It Rock. That album kick's ass!!!!

Another laid back album from one of my FAVORITE bands of all time. i own all the discs and bootlegs - this one (like someone else stated) took a few listens to find its way into my heart. Nice work, guys! 80/100

A relaxed album by the mighy Great White..a laid back one and with some The Black Crowes touches here and there..."Back To The Rhythm" is great,it rocks then we have a series of cool songs such as "Here Goes My Head Again","Take Me Down","Still Hungry","Standin' On The Edge" (this one is a highlight),"Neighborhood" (a personal fave),"Cold World"(another fave),"Just Yesterday"(moody) and "30 Days In A Hole"(laid back cover)...an album to sit back with a good glass of cold beer!!!.88/100

very good release by the legendary GREAT WHITE ,surely one of the best of 2007.real hard rock music, with jack s amazing voice and mark s great guitar work.many great rockers like "back to the rhythm","here goes my head again" and the great "take me down",but good acoustics also like the amazing "i m alive","how far is heaven".what can i say these guys never gonna stop, huge band indeed

A pretty good effort here, as others said it was just nice to hear the boys back together and doing what they do. Some good songs, nothing mindblowing but at least not a complete sellout like the next one was ('Rising'). This, to me, is the last worthwhile Great White album to have in your collection. Bluesy and mellow for the most part, but definitely those talented musicians you remember. They had recovered from the last several years best they could. It was all downhill from this point though.
