The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Secret Smile CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Secret Smile are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

SUPERB AOR ! Great newie, once again produced by mr. Cannata (when will we hear any new product from the man himself ?). Very recommended and nearly on the same level as Blanc Faces, Cry Holy etc. One of the best AOR records of the year so far (far better than let's say Prayer etc.).

IMO this is very dissapointing record...some songs sounds quite good but no killer or very good songs, nothing to go crazy over...with better mix (vocals too much behind instruments) this could be much better record

A pity you''re disappointed, vandervelde ! I find this a good AOR release, and much better than a lot of 'wellknown' acts.

just got this finally!!!! hmmm, not really sure yet, very nice sounding album indeed, no question at all, but it has not clicked yet, I am not saying anything bad, just waiting for it to hit me in some way, more to come!!! again, very nice sounding record definately!!!

Decent at best. Simple music, simple and cliched lyrics, simple, cliched and recycled melodies and hooks. Honestly, I feel as though I've heard all these choruses and hooks elsewhere, and a lot border on copyright I'd dare say. This is the best of their 3 albums, but I only liked one song off both 'Anatomy' and 'The road' so that's saying very little. Consistent and I really dig 'Sorry it didn't work out', but overall well below average and too simple and unoriginal without risk or killer songs.

Now this just one awesome CD. I mean, there are some albums on here that everyone seems to love, but I don't think are good at all. But this one totally delivers the goods. Crunching guitars, great production, and catchy as hell songs. Tears In The Sky has top 10 single written all over it, Runaway is my favorite, and Talking to a Stranger and Another Lonely Night have soaring harmonies and catchy choruses. Out of all the sought-after hard rock cds, this one is easy to find, and just kicks!

average rating 9.19??? this cd imo isn´t that good. decent melodic rock but has been heard much better (outland-long way home, for example). i miss the songs that are catchy enough to remember them when the disc has ended. so i´d say, a good one, but not a must. 7,5/10

Pretty good stuff.

From: Axe-Machine Date: December 30, 2006 at 18:09
Nothing like as good as I was expecting. The production is nice, but the songs are simple and a little boring to be honest. Hopefully they'll get it right with the next one, but I was left a little cold by this one.
