From The Samples Here, To Me Some Of These Songs Sound More Like Classic HOL.I Like HOL Period, So If They Where To Continue With The Style Of The Last 2 Cd's Or Go Back To The Demons Style Or Mix Between The Two, It Does'nt Matter To Me. |

After giving this new one about three spins, I have come to the conclusion that it is the best of the "new" generation discs from HOL. The songs rip, the musicians seem very comfortable with where they are going with the songs and the end result is a very powerful lineup of songs that will sound GREAT live. Each new disc gets better and better and James sounds tremendous. Fantastic effort! 95/100 |

Agree with everything that Axeslinger wrote...This could possibly even be THE BEST House Of Lords CD to date, it's THAT good...Also, I'm glad that the Keyboards take a backseat and that the Guitars have been beefed up a bit as Jimi Bell rips!!...Overall, a really GREAT collection of songs and some stellar playing by all members of the band...Oh yeah, and James Christian sounds Amazing as always!! |

Cartesian Dreams pick up were Come To My Kingdom left off. House of Lords is back for good and have found a great modern yet very true to the old stuff type of sound. I'm so exited cause I'm going to see them live in December here in Sweden! |

sorry folks, but for my opinion this is a huge dissapointment, first of all the production is too thin, there´s no kick of it and compare to two previous records, sound and songs are just not "my cup of tea" house of lords.actually i´m not so much friend of HOL first three records.come to my kingdom is my HOL reference and i gave it 95/100,this one gets 70/100. |

My first impression was also that this was the best of recent HOL and I do love it, but after a few spins I'm not sure it's better than the last two. I also like the harder rocking approach with bigger guitars, and there are some great songs here. In fact, there are only a few fillers and most of the rest is very good. I think I need a few more spins to decide it's place ranked alongside their best, but it's a good one, no doubt. I prefer the first half of the CD to the second half. |

Some mixed impressions about this HOL release but in my humble opinion this could be one of the best albums that has come out in 2009 for sure...the composition and musicianship is at its top and saying that the only remaining member form the original line up is Mr james Christian that by the way hasn't lost a bit of his voice (still sounding powerful!).Anyway from the starter "Cartesian Dreams","Desert Rain","Saved By A Rock" and so on we have one hell of a album..is there any filler in here???...please let me know..as for the album...95/100 |

Can't believe in Geoff's comment here. This one it's evident it was made in a month,it's anonymous, fast songwriting and average riffs, poor melodies and production is lower than the previous(who I consider their best with the "Demons' down" work.STOP WITH THESE REUNIONS PLEASE! |
