Donnie Iris came out with some great feel good rock albums. He didnt get the recongition he deserved along with the crusiers. These guys together was a great sound indeed

Every rocker here should remember and appreciate 'Ah!Leah!'. What a great, cruisin' around with the top down song! I have his European greatest hits cd, but this one would do since it has Leah and 'Love is Like a Rock' on it. when Donnie got it right his music was VERY good. too bad it just wasn't more often!

I am only familiar with one Donnie Iris release and that was the one in which "Ah, Leah" first appeared on. I don't even remember the name of the album but what a great one it was. I often wondered why he didn't hit it big. Probably record company politics. He looked kinda nerdy but Donnie Iris was an excellent, as they say, "feel good" rocker.

Excellent compilation of the first 4 DI albums (Back On The Streets, King Cool, The High & The Mighty and Fortune 410). Lots of goodies on this one, especially ' Ah! Leah' 'That's The Way' and the brilliant ' This Must Be Love'. Follow up albums were good in places aswell (No Muss No Fuss, and Footsoldiers In The Moonlight being particular favourites). All we need now is CD released versions of 'The High & The Mighty' and 'Fortune 410' to finish off a discography of a very underated artist.

Hey Jez-I have a very quality bootleg of Fortune 410-it is my favourite Donnie Iris album by far
