Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Cualquier banda que cuente con la voz de Grahan Bonnet, tiene el 90% de probabilidades de ser un clįsico... |

Yessssss, this best of is a killer. Many of the great MSG songs are on this album like LET SLEEPING DOGS LIE, ROCK MY NIGHTS AWAY or ARMED AND READY. Not only for MSG fans this is good. this is great for any hard rock/metal lover from the early 80s. If you like a mix between SCORPIONS, RAINBOW, UFO and GILLAN, then you will like this best of by MSG. |

Just got this one today. I was never too familiar with MSG, particularly their early work. The keyboard-drenched later stuff like "Anytime" and 'Never-ENding Nightmare" are absent, but what we do have is pretty damn good, and it's no surprise it sounds a lot like UFO, with maybe some hard-rockin' Priest thrown in. |

Nice compilation of MSG classics, very good & recomended to everybody who want's to make an approach to the band...I prefer the old songs as they sound quite close to UFO or Scorpions. All in all a good selection of songs. |
