| I'm a major Steve Stevens fan...is there another fan that would recommend this? Not sure why I never picked this one up? Does it compare/ exceed either Steve's or Michael's former band? Thanks.

| TIM, better to have several points of view, but as a start here's mine. This is not a great release at all. I both like Steve Stevens and Hanoi Rocks (Mike Monroe) but Jerusalem Slim does not sound like a real band. Here it is not 1 talent + 1 talent = masterpiece. Listening to this I even wonder if they ever met at the recording studio. They play their part...apart... 2 or 3 good songs, rest is average or pure crap. The drummer is one of the worst I heard. Monroe takes himself too seriously her

| Yeah, it's the same Greg Ellis as Shark Island. Steve Stevens is awesome on this album. If you like Vince Neil's solo debut then you will love this! It's a shame this band was never more than a stdio project. Sleaze rock heaven. 9/10

| I totally agree with Cruise - this is one of the greatest records both of Steve and Mike. One of the best glam / sleaze records ever and still one of my favs. Line-up is awesome too: Mike Monroe - vocs, Steve Stevens - guitar and bass, Sam Yaffa (of Hanoi Rocks and Jetboy) - some bass traxx, and Greg Ellis (of Shark Island) - on the drums.

| This album gets a lot of abuse thrown its way, much of which comes from Monroe himself who says not to buy it (and probably a lot of fans blindly follow him without hearing it). It's a quality sleazy glam album, in the vein of Monroe's Not Fakin' It, Zan Clan, and a touch of the Throbs; if you like any of that stuff you'll dig it. Great guitar + attitude-ridden songs = just great rockin. "Din't buy this" is like saying "don't look in this box"... it's hard to resist trying & I'm glad I did! 7/10

| well from some of the comments on here.i was expecting some real crap album.but this is good.if you like monroes not faking it.and the guitar work on atomic play ground...steve stevens solo.then get this one.you'll pick it up cheep.very good cd.

| This is the Most straightforward Rock'n'Roll/Sleazy sounding record that Steve Stevens have been a part of. Raw and raunchy, it certainly sounds a little too "un-polished" and to a lesser extent unfinished but nevertheless it's a great album, but not quite a classic

| So, TIM, I'm sorry, everybody is saying it is a masterpiece or so with great drummer. Sorry if I gave you a wrong idea of how great this release is or seems to be... I won't change my mind anyway : it is no bad but it is far from being "great" to my ears. But once again, when it comes to music it is mainly a matter of taste. Do people really are serious saying there is great drumming here ??? Enthousiasm, enthousiasm...

| sounded good on paper,Mike Monroe and Steve Stevens together, but it just doesn't work. Steve Stevens wanks his guitar off at every opportunity, trying to impress every guitar player out there. But the songs need a real rock n'roll guitarist like Johnny Thunders to keep the songs simple. Sounds like cartoon heavy metal. A real shame.

| Not bad at all: yes, it's not a classic in the genre, but the Steve's guitar is great, like always. The sound is much more consistent than "Atomic Playboys", also thanks to the producer Michael Wagener. Get it for a low price: if you like sleaze rock (and Steve Stevens: I love his style!!!!!!), you'll not be disappointed!

| Wow, I just heard a CDR of this and had no idea of the band line-up. I didn't even pick Monroe's voice and thought the guitar was average. LOL! I was never into Hanoi Rocks or Monroe's solo discs at all, but this is pretty damn good and, IMO, sounds nothing like them. It ain't amazing, but it's straight up solid hard rock, start to end. Nothing bad at all, 'Gotta get a hold' is great, and overall this is a good CD. Check it out for cheap, even if you're not a fan of the guys' other work.

| Man this stuff is really good! I liked all the tracks. Thought the guitar was real good. Really decent hard rock. Recommended. If anyone that doesn't like it and have a original for sale contact me on the message board. I loved it!

| I just can't really dig this stuff, but then again I never was one to like the Hanoi Rocks or Quireboys. So if bluesy glam like that is your thing you might like it, a little too mediocre for my tastes

| Ok I just got this album despite the mixed reviews above. This release is by a supergroup of sorts with members from Hanoi Rocks, Billy Idol, Shark Island and Jetboy all playing on it. In many ways it reminds me of the release of that other sleaze supergroup Contraband. Namely, it will not be to everyone's tastes, and to an extent doesn't sound like a serious band but rather one with mutually good musicians having fun playing the music they love. It sounds like old school bluesy rock turned right up in volume, with driving guitar licks and Michael's distinctive punk-like singing style. All in all, I quite like it. It is something different in my collection.
