este es el material más importante de RAINBOW, reune a 3 montruos del Hard Rock; Dio, Blackmore & Powell.Los temas son los más duros y directos que produjo la banda. Imperdible para los que no lo hayan escuchado.-

Best Rainbow album next to LLRR, best Rainbow line-up. A real classic release from Blackmore. All songs are great! Timeless classic.

F A N T A S T I C CD. Look at the musicians. This is one of the best cd`s I have ever heard. The only problem is that its annoyingly short. 33Mins.??? All tracks are equally good and perhaps A Light In The Black is one of the best guitar tracks I`ve ever heard. Blackmore was GOD at that time.

This one is the definitive Rainbow album. Great 70s Hard Rock that caught the spirit of Deep Purple In Rock, featuring one of the best rock drummers, Cozy Powell, with each song showing its own mood, being Stargazer the best, a fantastic 8-min dramatic song. It's a pity the album is too short

Ah! Richie, this was a time when water never became an obstacle along with Ronnie James Dio, this album just simply takes you on a Journey of magic and sorcerey, Ronnie takes you to a place where only stargazers belong and if you've never stargazed well its about time you did join many others and take youself on a stargaze trip, where you wonder do you belong here or where Ronnies just taken you this will last for time, got to agree with other comments just a tad too short but still class.

Without any doubt this is a CLASSIC hardrock record, and every home should have one. All songs are great, but Stargazer is the best. Fantastic !

A light in the black es un pedazo de canción tremendo. Viendo lo que hace Mr. Blackmore ahora que lejos quedan estos tiempos. Aunque en realidad si que quedan muy lejos, nada menos que 27 años.

Amazing album with a great band line-up. The last two tracks are just fantastic. Unfortunately they would only do one more good album before Blackmore changed the line-up and they becames a pop band.

This is an absolute timeless classic.Recorded 28 years ago with a production that still makes it sound as good as anything today and to hear the great man Cozy Powell {R.I.P} who was without doubt one of the , if not the best Hard Rock drummer's on this planet, play on this album is amazing.A must have for every serious hard rock fan. This is only one of a few albums that scores a 10/10.

Now this is more like it. They speed up the tempo here and come up with a 70's metal masterpiece. while all tracks are excellent, the high point would have to be "Stargazer", a "Kashmir" like epic that is Dio and Blackmore at their best. This has to be one of the most complete band ever put together. 10/10

I have to agree, this was '70's metal at it's absolute best! No doubt an all-time classic and the best Rainbow album ever! Stargazer was and still is mesmerising, just a fantastic track. Blackmore/Dio and band at their best. This was Ritchie in his element. I never got tired of this album, still stands strong today. This albim was one of those rare moments in time when everything clicks on all cylinders! An ageless classic!Gets 10/10!!! Rainbow fans email me at ps91sheltersme@aol.com

Brilliant is small word for this TREASURE AOR freaky.6 songs-6 PEARLS.There are no words to describe a song like "stargazer",one of the best ever together with "don't wake the lion"(MAGNUM),"telegram"(NAZARETH),"look at yourself"&"july morning"(URIAH HEEP),"child in time"(DEEP PURPLE).

If you want to hear what milestone rock & roll is all about, then you've hit the spot. Blackmore surely did not empty his bag by the time he left Deep Purple. This stands eye to eye with Deep Purple - "In Rock" & "Machine Head". A Classic!!!
