If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Rainbow CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Rainbow are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

QUIZAS UNO DE LOS TRES MEJORES DISCOS DEL HARD ROCK DE TODOS LOS TIMPOS.¿QUE MENOS PODIAN OFRECER TRES DE LOS MUSICOS REFERENTES EN LA HISTORIA DEL GENERO COMO BLACKMOORE,POWELL Y DIO?.LA VERSION DE MISTREATED EMPALIDECE HASTA LA ORIGINAL.DE MAS ES DECIR QUE TODA LA PLACA REBOZA UNA CALIDAD INFINITA,Y DEMUESTRA A LAS CLARAS CUAL FUE LA MEJOR FORMACION DE RAINBOW.CATCH THE RAINBOW ES EMOCION EN ESTADO PURO Y SIXTEENTH...LA ESCENCIA MISMA DE RITCHIE. SUBLIME 10/10 carro_martin2000@yahoo.com.ar

Back when 9 & 10 minute songs were en vogue... these guys knew how to do it!!

This is one of my all-time favorite live albums. Rainbow were such a great band in these days and this album really shows that.Every song is great, not a dud among them. This version of the great Deep Purple song, "Mistreated" is the best version available.Same goes for,"Kill The King" (what a great rockin'song), and "Catch The Rainbow." If you love Rainbow and/or great live music, then this is a must have. See my comments on the "Rising" album for other thoughts about this great band.

This is still a six pack moment waiting to happen. This one evokes the senses while reeling in the intricacies of the band. Anyone who has had the privilege of knowing who these guys were should be thankful for that knowledge. A quissentential part of the era, an individual should not be without this one. 10/10.

Punto. 10/10

The first Rainbow album I ever owned. My only complaint is no Stargazer and Light in the Black. That really would have made for a killer album.

RIP Ronnie. Thank you for your legacy of music you left us. You will be missed greatly.

From: Animal! Date: March 2, 2011 at 23:56
Much like Made in Japan from Deep Purple you get to hear Ritchie Blackmore cut loose and take charge.
