The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Xavier CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Good little indie, reminds me of Biloxi, Know Illusion, Flyweil and other keyboard-powered tugboats in the crowded sea of 90s hair metal. "Back to Me" features those tight, synth stabs that make collectors wet in the pants. Vocals are slightly weathered sounding, but the melodies make up for it. "Ace in the Hole" reminds me of something off the Slyboyz's "Good Time Music". "Shot Gun Sheila" could be a Kiss song circa "Crazy Nights". All in all, a good CD to pick up if you find it cheap.

I have seen alot of over-priced indies the last few years and this is one of the few that I would say is actually worth getting.

Is the the same band I seen play in Decatur IL. in the late 80's and early 90's, there was a band named Xavier that played locally with ambitions of hitting it big.

this xavier was from northern Mass/NH area

I have this one and it kicks major ass! Hard rock the way it's meant to be! Listen to what purrfect-kat says above about this NOT falling into the category of high priced indies that aren't worth it? Well...it is! This band actually features Abe Guthrie, who is the son of music legend Arlo Guthrie. Of course I don't think Arlo ever rocked like this cd does on any of his releases! Think Flyweil and the better stuff from Hericane Alice. Oh, btw...you're gonna pay more than $5 for this puppy! RARE!

Anyone know just how much this usually goes for? I have a copy, but I'm always checking eBAY to see how much its going for...but so far, I haven't found one for sale.

From: Pink Blade Date: December 13, 2004 at 11:44
TYTAN...first off, when you can't find an auction for the last 30 days on E-Bay for something, that's your first good sign it's rare. Before discovery, this was a few bucks, when word hit with some collectors, it was traded for about $40 or $50. The last one I saw on E-Bay went at $115 and I've seen them go higher! You have a rare cd! Don't hesitate to put it on E-Bay if you want to sell because once others sell theirs, you may not get as much. BTW, screw the $$$$$! AOR rules & lives! Music 1st!

Average 80's style hard rock with a couple of good songs, Back To Me, Shot Gun Sheila and some fillers. Nothing really to write home about and a bit overrated. For hard core collectors it would be a good addition to the collection is you can find it CHEAP. Rated 5.0/10.

From: Delbert Date: January 1, 2010 at 15:06
This is excellent melodic AOR/pomp rock in the style of AIRKRAFT and HYBRID ICE. Layered with excellent harmony vocals, keyboards and guitars, a highly sought after CD that should certainly have a place in any decent collection.

This is quite a goodie release indeed agree with Koogles ,"Back To Me" is an excellent song,"Ace In The Hole" is a pretty cool one,i really liked it,"Shot Gun Sheila" rocks,"Put Out The Fire" is a relaxing ballad & "Love In A Bottle" ends this mini album perfectly fine...Jason Webster's voice has some similarities at times to the one and only Jimi Jamison from the band Survivor...get it!.86/100

From: 5150 Date: July 23, 2013 at 6:48
If I remember this was recorded in 1991 but did not get release on cd until late 90's. Mighty fine melodic hard rock. Not pure Aor. Survivor and Toto this ain't.
