Forget about this one, mate ! It's not the real Aldo Nova here, like we all know and love him ! It's his weakest effort by miles and not worth buying at all ! |

If you approach this album expecting typical Aldo Nova, then you haven't done your homework. If you approach it with an open mind and a liking for Instrumental releases, then you may like it. Musically it is faultless, and features some fine playing from the man himself, & some excellent Bass playing, especially on the 9 minute 'Freedom' which is a fine fine piece. As I said, If you appreciate instrumental albums & don't expect his days of old then this is a very good record otherwise forget it. |

I believe this was some sort of concept album. It's was something like having a dream and meeting J. Hendrix. The whole album consists of bits and pieces of music (and sounds) all labelled as seperate tracks. The Nelson boys tried the same thing with "Imaginator", but that one had at least a couple of decent songs on it. This one hardly does. In the end you just think "what the f..... is this????. Forget this one. |

I agree to Jez - it is really an album with fine Guitar playing from Aldo Nova and if someone likes that style he will surely enjoy it.Anyone who has no attitude for that, may ignore it-saying it is garbage is more the right word for the comment. |

I'm not too keen on instrumental albums and even less if they have a conceptual side...i love Aldo's AOR stuff but this one seemed completely separated from the aforementioned genre(probably track #7 "Pressure Cooker" that reminded somehow of the song "Twitch" of Aldo's 1985 album of the same name)...in general lines,a good album but not for me at all...80/100 |
