| compilation of the first three albums (s/t, Subject & Twitch). If you already have those then you don't really need this, unless u r an Aldo completist. Excellent nontheless.

| Unfairly favors the first two releases, and shafts "Twitch" in the process. I happen to think "Twitch" is way more dynamic than "Subject"! The lack of "Blood on the Bricks" material here makes Aldo Nova a prime candidate for a re-thought, re-compiled best of package.

| I agree with the comments above on this one. Kind of unnecessary. I gave it 7/10. Music is awesome, but I would have rather seen some new unreleased material added as a bonus thus the lower than usual rating.

| Está bien cargadito el recopilatorio. Está casi todo su disco debut solo faltaria "Can´t Stop Lovin´ You" y "Your´re My Love" para completar su mejor disco en mi opinión, aunque por muy cerca de sus siguientes discos. "Always Be Mine" y sobretodo "Victim of a Broken Heart" son super temas de AOR pero que en mi opinión Aldo no da la talla con su voz en tremendas joyazas. Aldo por lo que veo está en mejor forma cantando temas más en plan Hard Rock IMHO. 8.5/10

| One good compilation from Mr Nova.If you don't have anything from this splendorous artist then this album would be a nice gift for you!!!.Para el amigo Juan Carlos:creo que Aldo si da la talla en los temas que mencionastes quizas fueron compuestas para ser cantadas de una forma mas tranquila sin tanta crudeza en la voz.La emotividad la tiene y si la transmite sobre todo en el final de las 2 canciones con su voz iendo de menos a mas.

| Holas Rick, ante todo un gustazo. Siendo rígido te diría que para tremendos temas hubiera preferido otro cantante, vamos que no es de las mejores voces del AOR Aldo sin que esto suene a ofensa tampoco, no me malintrepetes pero igual hay momentos en que la voz de Aldo no me molesta para nada, pero son tremendos temas.. Pero bueno son solo opiniones, ya que hay muchos que no le molesta en lo absoluto la voz de Aldo y hay otros que si, pero solo son eso, gustos. Saludos Rick y a seguir comentando.

| Tienes razon Juan Carlos.Aldo no se caracteriza por ser un gran vocal pero entra en los llamados "voces" del genero aor.Es increible como habiendo miles de bandas buenas sean pocas las que uno pueda reconocer como "la voz".Aldo hoy en dia hace musica un poco mas introspectiva y quizas la "llama" se haya apagado un poco (en lo personal dificulto que saque otro album de la calidad del homonimo,Subject o Twich)pero sin duda alguna sea lo que edite sera bien recibido!!!.

I wrote a comment in spanish way back in 2007 and now my appreciation of this release in english...well this is an almost very complete compilation(i would have put some unreleased material in it and make it more attractive))anyway about the tracks in here,most of them are pretty worth like for example cuts 4(beauty),5,6,8,9(great instrumental),10,12(  ),13,14(best cut),15(beauty),16(beauty),17(best cut)& 18...if you don't have anything from this great artist then pick this one up eyes closed.98/100

| superb best of release for an artist that really has the talent,the vibe and helped much the 80 s scene with his releases!ALDO NOVA is agreat songwriter and he seems capable of writing down easily big hits!essential in every collection

| great compilation from this brilliant canadian singer and guitarist.nevertheless we have lot of fillers on this record,principally from his debut album."fantasy" "heart to heart" and"under the gun" are some super songs ,the rest is bad and sound very dated.after on the two follow up records ,it s better with excellent a o r songs even if we still have several fillers in between.finally the good is superior to the mediocre,so i recommand this cd after a serious clean up.
