I like this, mostly because of Mr.Martin, he is just incredible singer, very underrated. Music is not really metal to me, i would call it melodic hard rock. Most of the songs are mid-tempo. There is some nice melodies, catchy hooks and cool riffs. This is not like the 1st Empire album, that was much more metal. But if u like good singing and floating melodies give this a try.

What we have here is a CD that if dropped down mid 80’s could have been ‘all the rage”. Why not! Half the players have PLAYED in mid 80’s styled bands. Let’s see… We have Rolf Munkes (ex-Vanize); we have Anders Johansson (Hammerfall), Neil Murray (ex-Whitesnake) and Don Airey (ex- Rainbow, Deep Purple and Silver). Even in the mixing process Stefan Kaufmann (U.D.O.) simple points to the fact that this CD was written, played and ultimately designed to be and sound like mid-80’s metal.

You guys got wrong! Its not a prog metal album!its a AOR album, Tony Martin, Neil Murray and Don Airey along these two great german musicians.Sounds like the Martin solo material and something from The Cage project.Very nice drums and guitar solos.

"Back In The Light" Excelente final. Recomendado.

Real good not too heavy (Melodic Hard) ROCK record! I LOVE the starting riff of "Back In The Light"... BUT those Drums, aw, they just suck big time! Way too "(pseudo-) proggy"!!! Tony Martin rules!!!! Just my 2 cents... Rock on, Bax
