Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you notice that a particular Empire CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Empire are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

No Comments on this Masterpiece?!!? I'm a huge fan of Mr. Martin throughout all his career spots (and there are plenty of them!!! ;-)) I like EVERY song on here - but 4 are stellar: "The Raven Ride", "Breathe", "Satanic Curses" & "The Devil Speaks, The Sinner Cries"... For me these tracks could also be on any Tony Martin fronted Sabbath! Aw, and i LOVE the melody of the verses on "What Would I Do?" .... and support my personal friend Rolf ;-) Rock on, BAx |

This album is not as consistent as Chasing Shadows (their latest album which is a blast and is not listed in Heavy Harmonies yet)...the album offers heavy riff melodies and it features the vocals of Tony Martin (ex Black Sabbath)."The Raven Ride" is a good song with that heavy doomy riff kinda dense beat to it,"Carbon Based Lifeform", "Al Sirat" & "Changing World" are also a pretty good tracks but the best one has to be "Maximum" that completely rocks the house, then another goodie is "I Can't Trust Myself"...Tony Martin and Neil Murray both ex Black Sabbath members worked together here and also in the album Trading Souls..the vocals here were very low tuned and were not so strong in parts but that was the main idea of the album to be done... heavy as a truck!!!...80/100 |
