If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Spellbound CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Spellbound are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

What would SAXON sound like had they been a Scandinavian act??? Well, probably like SPELLBOUND...They seem to derive a lot of inspiration from Saxon but still they maintain the good & immaculate Scandi-sound...Great album from start to finish!

A really great band who seem to be virtually unknown in the UK. Heavy, sleazy, oozing class

Great record. This band was like most of the bands from europe in those times, heavily influenced by the NWOBHM. I think that their second album ROCKIN RECKLESS is better but this is still a cool european release.

This one is pretty cool! Nothing original but the songs rocks like a real bad mofo! This is the one to get - Rockin´ Reckless never reched the same level. Cool hardrockin´ songs. Melodic but in the Van Halen and Leppardstyle (pyromania-era)and not in the style of lame bands like bongiovi and poison.

If you like your ROCK hard, then this one is for you! Taking on board a whole load of influences from nwobhm acts to stadium rockin' US acts Spellbound sadly never made the grade but this lp will not let you down from start to finish. Jam packed tight with melodies, hook laden choruses and guitar licks a plenty this lp was rarely equalled at the time but was largely ignored. The vocals veer from snarled grit chewing barks to smooth angelic tones that worked even better on the more pop rock orient

- tated Rockin Reckless! My opinion? Buy them both you wont regret it.

Wow, just discovered these guys! I'm impressed. Think Jag Wire with a more metallic edge and a combination of the lead vocalists from Dalton and DAD mixed up, and you have Spellbound. Tracks 2-6 are metallic riff driven killers (awesome riffage and guitarwork) and tracks 7 and 9 are nice sentimental balladic numbers. This isn't groundbreaking, but definately recommended to fans of 80's melodic metal / hard rock.

Ummmm...not bad but neither good IMHO...c'mon vocalist is not that great...at least this debut didn't catch my whole attention as it did their follow up that is really much better than this...about the tracks i'd go with "Raise The Roof","Piece Of My Heart" & "Rock The Nation" these 3 tracks have some AOR feel...then tracks 2,3 & 4 are ok too but not to kill for...a matter of tastes i suppose...79/100
