Yessss! Not to sound trite, but this CD absolutely F'N ROCKS!There are so many obvious influnces present in Damn Cheetah's music, that it would be hard to name them all,but AC/DC,Cinderella,Saigon Kick, and even "Slide it In" era Whitesnake are some of the ones I hear when listening to this cd.Tracks 4,7,& 11 are all excellent ballads, with "Forever"(very reminiscient of Saigon Kicks "Love is on the Way") being the standout.Tracks 1,2,5,& 8 are my favorite rockers, with "Love Thunder" being my fave.

From: MJ Date: October 28, 2003 at 10:49
SO agree on the "Forever"! My next favorite is "Some Kinda Woman"....This album has some funk, some blues, lots of ROCK....and the vocals on the ballads....(to me )....unbelievable!! Killer hooks!! Killer harmonies!! From the very first "LET'S GO" to the very last chord.....I loved it!! Little bit of everything here!

From: Rick Date: October 28, 2003 at 19:20
A real solid release without a doubt. "Some Kinda Woman" and "Maybe Tomorrow" are great rockin' tunes. The ballads are top notch, and as Whiplash stated, the 80's influences are real apparent. The CD is highly recommended for anyone into Whitesnake/Cinderella type rock. A 9.5 rating in my book.

From: Rycheage Date: November 19, 2003 at 0:38
Solid release in the vein of 80's rock. Any hair band fan will drool over this. As a whole the songs together lack a certain kind of cohesiveness but individually they rock. Recommended.

All in all, very solid release. Just the fact that they put out something like this in 2003, ya gotta give 'em credit. The production's a little amateurish, sounds un-mastered or something. But like I said very solid. I like it!

Yeah, "Maybe Tomorrow" is my favourite. Awesome album!

From: TIM Date: January 22, 2004 at 22:42
Hey Kristian, could you email me? Your email addy won't show up in my address book. Haven't heard these guys yet, but can't wait to hear my Damn Cheetah/ Lethal Lipstick EP.

From: Jonny_B Date: September 9, 2004 at 21:27
Les Brown's only music experience before Damn Cheetah came from a one-song band called NRG. (They wrote "Instruments of Destruction" for the Transformers soundtrack.) 17 years later, he comes out of nowhere and unleashes this monster! How did he manage to maintain his falsetto after all these years? Impressive rock album start-to-finish.

From: Geoff Date: September 10, 2004 at 2:12
Hey Tim - I had that Damn Cheetah / Lethal Lipstick EP too! I now have the complete LL demo and this complete album? Who's better, IMO - the one with an album released on Kivel Records! These guys supply awesome hard rock, but it's the ballads that steal the show for me. 'Forever' is outstanding - one of the best ballads I've ever heard, 'Without your love' is also sensational, heartfelt and beatiful. But my fave (off the EP too) could be 'Tonight', with it's hard rocking solo too. Amazing song.

This thing is incredible!!! Hopefully record # 2 is on the way soon!! We need plenty more music of this type!

From: chocularok Date: May 18, 2005 at 22:03
A very, very good cd that starts off a little slow but quickly picks up steam. Tracks 4-8 are great. A little hard to nail down specific influences (sounds like...) except for "Forever" of course sounding like Saigon Kick's "Love Is On The Way"...though "Forever" craps all over the latter from a height of several miles. Pick it up!

This is the ticket for you hard rockin, foot stomping ,air guitar playing folks like me. About as perfect as it gets. The ballads, the rockers man they all blend in perfectly! This album is a MUST own. Your collection won't be complete without it! P.S. Play it loud cause you will want to share it with your neighbors!

From: 7Sinner Date: August 10, 2006 at 13:43
Another must have release. It rips from the first track to the last. If you love hard drivin rock n roll then you must buy this.!

From: metalmaniac777 Date: January 24, 2007 at 14:26
Damn, people, not even one negative comment on this album? Okay, it's not bad by any stretch of the imagination, but it's formulaic to the extreme, playing the hair-metal-by-the-numbers game without offering a single thing we haven't heard a hundred times before by a hundred better bands. Harsh as this may be to say, these guys are a third-tier hard rock band at best. Sorry, but with its generic hooks and heard-it-a-thousand-times-before approach, this one just doesn't get my juices flowing.

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 11, 2008 at 11:01
Not as good as advertised above for sure !! This is not bad but I woudl not rate so high. It does sound unfinished in the production department and perhaps a bit raw. I found myself a little bored by the middle of the disc. they are obviously talented musicians but the songs just don't flow well and I am a hard rock fanatic it just didn't get my foot tapping. Not a buy or die album . Maybe in the range of a Adrenaline type group at best but not even close to a Dirty Looks album. 75/100

From: kickstartmyhart Date: July 20, 2008 at 14:30
I am totally into melodic rock music and i must say that this album is one of the best that i have ever heard. Les Brown can sing, theres no denying that, he has an amazing voice. Carl Fragnito rips it apart on guitar. The ballads are so beautiful on here, i think they are some of the best. I really wish that they would put out another album because these guys know their music. I recommend that anyone who loves melodic, 80's style music, should definitely grab this album, u wont be sorry. I give this album a 9 out of 10.

From: rbrigade Date: December 4, 2008 at 18:57
Lets get serious...If this album is generic and formulaic then what about Motley Crue...or Ratt? or anyone else? Just because this isn't an 80's release you can't ignore the great music! I was fascinated by this album! And the ballads are really wonderful!

From: erik Date: April 19, 2009 at 5:13
Maybe tomorrow is worth the addition of this cd alread Killer song ! And a much more melodic approach and catchiness to it this song then the other songs that are 2 straight forward for me.

From: True Believer Date: July 18, 2009 at 7:16
Obviously the ballads are the peaks here. Although I here a lot of different influences, the whole CD is pretty consistent. Killer songs and really great singer. 9/10

From: maxvolume Date: February 23, 2011 at 13:10
Brothers Carl & Anthony Fragnito were in the female-fronted 80s metal band BLACKLACE from New York that released 2 demos in 1983 & 85 plus 2 full-length LPs that many of you may remember: 1984s "Unlaced" + 1985s "Get It While It's Hot". Online info I have seen on suggests that BLACKLACE reformed in July of 2004 and are now active again.
