If you notice that a particular Hardcore Superstar CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Hardcore Superstar are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The general consensus appears to be that this is missing the hooks of previous efforts, and I can kind of see that. But for me, these guys have always just been an average band until 'Dreamin' in a casket'. If you ask me, that album and this are the first signs that these guys are a real hard rock band. Like 'Dreamin' in a casket' this is pretty ballsy stuff and whilst it may not be perfect, I am digging it. Good solid sleaze hard rock/metal and it's good so see an average band finally come good.

Heavy-hitting, sleaze-fueled, in-your-f*ckin'-face hard rock that tears it up from start to finish like a Viking beserker let loose in a village full of virgins and really doesn't give two shits who gets pummeled along the way. Ever since their self-titled CD took the scene by storm, these hardcore hellraisers have been the superstars of the Swedish glam/sleaze-metal resurrection, and while this particular album isn't quite as good as the previous pair, it still towers over most other current bands in the genre like Goliath sneering down at David. The ripping guitars pin you to the wall like a dead insect on corkboard while the generous hooks leave you begging for more like a nymphomaniac on the edge of orgasm. And if gang backing vocals are what you go for, well, those are present and accounted for too. Bottom line, if you're even remotely a hard rock fan and this isn't in your collection, you need to get it.

metalmaniac777 - I don't mean to come off as the PMRC of HH but you may have to change your handle # to '666' after your comments. I'm all about sarcasm and humor as everyone has there own writing style. I would say your the king of analogy's on HH and I find some of them amusing in your reviews. But IMO you crossed the line with a 'Viagra Viking' basically looking to rape a virgin all in the name of rock n roll. Then you work in a Biblical David and Goliath reference? Do you see a conflict? I'm not a prude or a Rhodes Scholar but I don't see the humor or connect the analogy? I've gotten caught up in the heat of the moment before and had comments deleted, so I'm not casting the first stone. It's just your comments vocabulary for the most part dictates that your a smart guy, as in general I don't see you dropping mandatory raunch or profanity. It just so happens I got into this subject with the Potty-mouth Prince of HH(Geoff).See 'Reward - Break Out' for more incite. (continue)

As you can see after reading that first review one of our own HH patrons suffers from 'Text Tourette's Syndrome'. (definition) Vocal Tics, you can clear your throat, scream, bark, squeal, snort, hork, spit, grunt, sniff, cough and hum. Phonic tics include, but are not limited to, sounds like "sk", "ch" and "f**k" up to words or complicated phrases. Most people recognize TS because of those who cannot control their swearing and ethnic slander. As you can see it can quickly spiral out of control. I would hate to see you one day have to go to a TS Anonymous meeting with the G-Man, while in group therapy he reveals why the lyrics for 'Steel Panther' - Feel the Steel' give him deep personal meaning in his life.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: March 5, 2010 at 10:57
Not to speak for anybody else, but as far as the Viagra-Viking/David and Goliath analogies (note plural), you might not see a "connection" because they're two different analogies, and aren't supposed to be connected. So no, there's no "conflict," except possibly one posed by too many aren't-I-clever analogies trying to coexist in the same post. Yes, he would be the king of analogies here, but after a while, they're so over-the-top you quit really paying attention to them.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: March 6, 2010 at 19:25
To MetalllianStallion: I'll take your "king of analogies" comment as a compliment, but I certainly won't apologize for how I write my reviews here, especially considering you're the only one who's ever complained, while I have received literally dozens of messages from members who enjoy my style. If you are offended by some of my analogies, may I suggest skipping my reviews? As for Doghouse Reilly...thanks, I guess, for the "defense" of my Hardcore Superstar review, and sorry (in a sarcastic way, naturally) that you feel I try to pack too many "clever" (your word, not mine) analogies into my posts. Just trying to spice up the comments and make them a tad entertaining (to some folks, anyway). At least you have learned to not pay attention to them if you don't like 'em! Seems like such a simple concept...

From: MetalllianStallion Date: March 10, 2010 at 5:55
Doghouse - the 'conflict' I made reference to( 777 vs. 666) was a moral one(google those numbers). Most people have common ground on what is appropriate in public no matter what their belief system. I wasn't registering a formal complaint against 'MM777' ,just throwing in my 2 cents worth. Maybe like televison and movies we can rate our reviews on HH, so the kid rockers/Aor-ers can avert their eyes when necessary(Tipper(G)ore rated).

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: March 10, 2010 at 15:26
I konw what those numbers mean. Just didn't seem like anything worth taking offense over, but then, it's all voodoo to me.

From: Geoff Date: March 10, 2010 at 23:04
I want to do a poll to see if it's just me, or is MetalllianStallion the most pathetic presence the internet has ever had to deal with? What a useless, pansy skirt wearer. Boohoo. Poor widdle MetalllianPony and his precious eyes. Most priceless line ever? "I'm not a prude." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That is amazing. Yeah, of course you're not. lol. Mark is probably the most enjoyable reviewer here, so go have your cry somewhere else Mr Pony. No one else cares.
