Another great AOR piece that's extremely rare. There's one on Ebay now and I suggest you bid. Recommended.

From: David Date: October 28, 2003 at 21:46
TIM, does the guy sing more than the girl? or do they sing the same amount of songs?

From: TIM Date: October 29, 2003 at 0:40
Not sure, but I think the guy sang more. I'll check asap.

From: tomcat Date: October 31, 2003 at 14:30
the song 'further from my heart' is a must hear.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: David Date: November 11, 2003 at 7:08
AWESOME!!, JUST AWESOME!! I didn't really know what to expect after paying so much for this piece of AOR heaven. There is one on e-bay at the moment, I suggest you go and grab it while you can. This kind of music is just not made these dayz.

From: TheRipper Date: November 11, 2003 at 19:25
Wow David! I am so glad to hear you like this one. When I heard you got it, I was skeptical, and thought you might dislike it even though I have always dug this little and VERY obscure piece. Yet another band that did the LA thing for an instant of time and I saw them in random local scene zines. The vocalists were married and compliment each other greatly, even though the male sings more. If you like this one check out their one previous to it (from '88), which is also great and terribly rare.

I am surprised to see this CD here. I started this band with Tom Suter in 1981 in Iowa City, Iowa, which is where the band was actually from. It was originally an 8 piece band, with Anne and another female singer, Barb. Tom Played rhythm guitar, and later bass, and finally I believe he was just a singer. My guess is that Tom & Anne have several mint copies of this CD and others. He is here in Iowa City, and I just spoke to him Sunday. I left the band in 1986 and the CDs were from after that time

It is an awesome album. I saw these guys live and they were really fun.

I have 2 autographed copies of these CDs. I saw Landslide in 1983 in Iowa City. They rocked and I danced on the table. Don't remember the bar name anymore but it was just a few doors down from the Field House. Saw them again in 1990 in Moline. Get your Landslide CDs now. This CD is a treasure, a great listen and collectors item.

Brian, That would have been Maxwells. We were the last live band to play there as Maxwell's, which had been a local hot spot for many years. I don't recall seeing anyone dance on the tables there, but I also don't recall a lot of things from that time period I left the band in 1986, so you saw a completely different band in Moline. I never got to see them play anymore after I left, but I have seen a few bits of video tape from then.

Both albums by this band are great. We met them when they were touring and heard them play in several states. They are wonderful people and were a lot of fun too!

From: Lesley Date: April 10, 2004 at 23:42
I have autographed copies of both!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news again, but IMO this was just another one of those releases that did not live up to even a speck of the hype displayed for them. Musically they are really quite good with some awesome riffs / keyboard assisted and all. There's nothing wrong with them musically and it will appeal a lot to AOR fans, and the verses are pretty cool too, but IMO where it suffers is in the lack of decent choruses. Not one impressed me, unfortunately. Shame because it's an okay CD.

From: Delbert Date: June 30, 2007 at 11:44
Fronted by both a male and female vocals, this CD rocks! They take an approach as the band FIGHTER on the singing but with even more melodies and even better vocals. The sound is laden with hooks, keyboards, perfect guitars and a style comparable to JC DESIRE, JUKEBOX HEROES, PHIL CHRISTIAN, CONNIE SCOTT, with hints of QUADE, and SAY. An excellent overall production too. It's hard to describe them since they outshine most AOR bands.

From: Swazi Date: October 7, 2007 at 17:50
I couldn't agree more to Delbert ! Absolutely AWESOME stuff !! I wish I had an original of this CD.

From: juan carlos Date: October 30, 2007 at 23:24

From: darobinson Date: November 27, 2009 at 15:37
Sorry folks but I am going to have to say that this is not that good in my opinion. I love AOR/Melodic rock but it has to have some punch. This is just kind of bland to me. I guess that is why we are here, to share our opinions. If looking to buy please be aware of bootlegs. I am thinking my copy is just that.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: June 23, 2010 at 15:52
I have a 4 track demo from this lot and is quite acceptable..decent vocals, maybe not the best in the business but still good..the songs of the demo showed me a band with good rocking songs, into the melodic rock territory but far from pure AOR...for the demo i'll give 84/100...

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 5, 2012 at 19:48
Now i'm getting to listen the whole album...yep...quite acceptable as well...the combination of the 2 singers(male & female) is quite effective and interesting too..."Say Hello To The Night"(catchy),"Do You Know What Love Is"(nice),"Keep This Feeling Alive","Hold Me All Through The Night","Only When I Dream"(nice)& "Temptation Knocking" are my faves in here...my real and general rate is 80/100

Pretty good release for LANDSLIDE back in 90 that strongly reminds me of LIFEFORCE or JACQUELINE but not that good!the sound is ok with lots of keys, female vocsand a fine commercial approach, but the songs should be stronger!"say hello to the night","do you know what love is","further from my heart" and "only when i dream " are the highlights
