The samples for this one sound great! Total late 80's AOR!!!

From: AOR freaky Date: June 28, 2004 at 4:57
To all AOR lovers : this is typically eighties sounding AOR ! Great stuff and one of the finest release of the year so far. But I have one big complaint : the running time ! 36 minutes in these ages of CD ! A shame !

From: peter poland Date: June 28, 2004 at 5:10
another awsome album by this Canadian a little underground rockers. Great melodies with typical but great 80s feel. Maybe it's not as goog as first release, but mainly because there's no STANDING OUT IN THE RAIN . But whatever kind of AOR you like, it's a must. THANK GOD THAT SOMEONE CAN PLAY LIKE THAT THESE DAYS

Highly recommended Canadian band and a very good release. Loved the 'Back from the Dead' disc, but this one is even better. If you're into 80's canadian melodic rock ala Loverboy, Blvd, then this is for you.

Recently, Melodicrock.com had a mid-year poll for best releases of 2004 so far, and this one was on a vast number of the Top 10 lists. And rightfully so, Renegade returns with another AMAZING release. Whereas the Westcoast masterpiece, "Back From the Dead" was very similar to BLVD, "On the Edge" recalls another great Canadian 80s band: Loverboy. Simply put, if you are into pure 80s AOR, you can't go wrong with Renegade.

From: TIM (2) Date: July 20, 2004 at 9:07
Is a real treat to hear something like this in 2004. Recordings mostly from the mid-80's, the above comparisons to prime time Loverboy are spot on. Heavy on the keys and the big choruses, my only slight criticism would be the thin sound (which particularly ruins the title track), but you just don't hear great songs like "Testify" or "Angel of Love" anymore... 9/10.

From: Erik Date: October 7, 2004 at 13:37
So agree with you Tim. Its a real pleasure hearing this kind of top class music in 2004. Especially love the choruses. Superb release. Great band ! If ever a release deserved the famous last 3 words then its this one: A MUST HAVE !

That's a great aor band in the style of Blvd.(debut)IMO.I think their debut cd is much more well produced and better, too.BTW very good new band from Canada even if they had to find a more original name, there already are other 2 bands with the same name even if they split-up ok....

From: grimwulf Date: February 27, 2005 at 0:55
Thanks for the info, Chad. Shoulda read all the comments b4 i asked tho cuz someone else had left a place to get it too, lol. All good tho!!!

From: Swriter Date: March 25, 2005 at 22:11
very good 80's stuff, very melodic and dreamy sounding at times, cool keys, not a classic but a good release. Standouts to me are Testify, Angel, Make Believe, and My Life. I hear the Blvd influence, to me, I also hear influences of Platinum Blonde and HSuite. Very good release.

From: MATREX Date: July 11, 2005 at 4:03
