A must have in anyone's collection of 80's melodic rock. A star in rocks universe. Loaded with hits on this one. |

The best band never to go platinum. These songs absolutely kick ass. Great melodies with killer hooks. Duel guitars with flawless backing vocals. I can't say enough good things about this record. |

I concur with everyone. The first song I heard by them was "Show a Little Love" and it was on Headbanger's Ball on MTV one night. I missed it but my friend recorded it that night and said you gotta see this video and hear the song. He immediately bought the first 2 CDs and I borrowed both and loved them. Unfortunately I was too broke to get them and when I did try to find them, it was impossible so I got this one and was very pleased. |

Awesome comp of the first two but I still think "Laughing in your face" should have been on this. "Nobody Knows" is an awesome ballad. |
From: Geoff | Date: January 13, 2005 at 4:32 |
In hindsight a pretty useless compilation, but this was my first ever taste of the band and was a hugely welcomed surprise as even far into my hard rock collecting the first two albums eluded me on CDR even. I'd love originals, but will have to do with CDRs for now. Either way, this is one of the most highly regarded bands of the genre and it's certainly not hard to see why. Funny thing is, this compilation actually features most of the best songs off the first 2 CDs, IMO. Very good compilation. |

Sounds pretty good but could be better without the mastondont intros that get cut off halfway. 3/5 |

My first introduction to the band and it was life-long love at first sight...or, rather, at first listen. No need to bother with this if you already own the first 2 albums--save your money for living expenses such as hookers & hooch--but a great compilation if you don't, featuring some of the band's best cuts. Way back when I was a Lillian Axe virgin and I picked this up based solely on the cover and I wasn't disappointed with my first time...you won't be either. |
