Superb melodic hard rock delivered as only those Germans can. The band is a potent mix of early Gotthard, Bonfire, Shakra, and Skid Row. This is the band's sophomore effort and it's a little less polished than their debut, with bigger, harder-edged guitars that sound great. Bottom line, if you love loud guitars, big hooks, shout-it-out choruses, and lots of backing vocals, you'll be talking about this band for weeks to come...

This album is bloody marvellous. I agree with everything M. Allen says, and wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of hard edged melodic rock.

A very good album all the way. I have the one with the original cover, where the cover is four toilet seat.

i think m allen has this pind down.good album.but it did take some time to get into.as the first was like mothers milk.

Nowhere near as good as the debut but still a pretty decent album. I find there are only two or three songs I actually like on this one, though, and even those ones don't dazzle me in the way the debut did. I prefer the debut, but this is still pretty cool hard rock.

Boysvoice will finish the mastering of their comeback album "Serenity" during the coming week. The album will mark the return to the band's classic 80's style and be released on Escape Music during the summer.

From: z4roxx Date: December 30, 2006 at 15:52
I don t know why but these guys sound to me like an austrian band, not german.BTW this cd is not bad,it contains some good hard rock moments, unfortunately vocals isn’t so good but decent anyway.I hope”serenity”cd will be better,I’ve got it after Erik’s fave bands list from 2000 on.

Good Hard Rock, esto ya es Hard Rock directo no el Hard Melodico de su anterior trabajo y en efecto no tan bueno como ese aca el punto mas alto es "Dirty Talks" buen disco sin mas 7.5/10

Nowhere near as good as the debut ? No Sir thats very poor judging this is certainly at least just as good as the killer debut album. M.Allen is so right here. Great band with another great album.Money is a great rocker, Wonderful world a good ballad , Say Goodbye is an absolute favorite of mine and a fine example of the excellent guitarplay of Peter Diezel. Pretty Life is yr typical Boysvoice rocker. Powerfull yet melodic. Worlds Going On is a catchy rock song with a great sing a long chorus.

From: erik Date: June 22, 2007 at 12:54
Coldhearted Man is a moody (not the best)rock song. All Night Long another prime BV rock song. Album saves the best for last maybe.Dirty Talks is another favorite rocker of mine also cause again of the awesome guitarplay and just listen how the songs changes pace in the middle and then comes back again to the chorus. One More Night, Overloadad and Hold On are 3 other BIG favorites for me, Rockers scandi style with a great chorus. 9/10 and haha for sure as good as the debut

From: Niglin Date: December 19, 2009 at 22:49
As soon as he starts to talk on 'Wonderful World' you will not he does not have much of a grasp on the English language, as it were. Harsh, gruff and, lets call 'shitty talks', bad. Sing in your own language, 'Skid Row' huh, what a joke!

From: erik Date: December 20, 2009 at 12:24
glad to see your english is so much better Niglin..... what a comment to make....some people....pfhhhhh

SKIDROW IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THIS BAND,GOTTHARD, SHAKRA AND BONFIRE. HOW DOES SOMEONE THINK SKIDROW SOUNDS LIKE THESE BANDS. DROP SOME MORE ACID. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT FOR WHAT THEY HAVE PUT OUT. TOO BAD THEY DID NOT MAKE THE AIR WAVES.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 10, 2012 at 17:47
In my opinion the band here put away the Bonfire-ish sound they had on their first album and got some more of a own personality..solid songs and not so sticky like they did back then..."Pretty Life"(rocks!),"World's Goin' On","Dirty Talks","One More Night" & "Hold On" are good ones but surely there will be some other tracks in here that will catch your attention dudes ...recommended...88/100

very good release for BOYSVOICE offering a more rough sound with less melodic lines but with great big guitars and a fine hard rocking vibe!all the songs stand out but none gets to be somehow a hit!good hard rock again for BOYSVOICE

In today's upside down world, this band/singer name/ album title. It fits right in with the drag queen story hour, coming to a public library near you.
