What the fuck are you all saying, this is a great WHITE METAL album with REX CARROLL from WHITECROSS. A great melodic heavy/rock album that i love. Their second album 'The fall' is realy shit, but this one is one of the best albums that came out in 1994, at least the best WHITE METAL album that year(yes, i know, not many WHITE METAL albums came out that year).

Ex-Stryper members really helped this CD's success. The Song 'Miracles' is my favorite, also on acoustic remixe. If you like Stryper, this CD is a must to have. Rating 8.5 out of 10. Excellent White Metal!!!

I really liked this music... People, can you tell me, where it is possible to get some more music of this band? If you know something about them, please write on my e-mail: aquamarin@fromru.com

Hi Erik, this disc is incredible. The opening is one of the best christian metal songs ever, half of the songs here are ballads ahahahah!I hold the fisc only for the first songs,it's the only case I hold a cd for a single song but 'Hard Road to Go' it's a masterpiece.

With his previous band, Whitecross, Rex Carroll made a name (legend) for himself as one of the premier axe-slingers in Christian metal, capable of scorching the six-string with the best of 'em, including his secular counterparts. Following his departure from the band he helped found, he formed this new group, applying his fiery guitar heroics to a hard rocking sound that was a little more commercial than Whitecross, but unfortunately failed to deliver more than a handful of good songs. The opening track is a rip-snortin' barn-burner and causes expectation levels to redline, but those expectations are seriously let down as the CD rolls on and one lackluster song after another lumbers acros the sonic landscape, only occasionally interspersed with a tune that gets the blood pumping again. You cannot truly call this a boring album--nothing with Rex's blistering guitar can ever be a total borefest--but compared to Whitecross, it's kind of a snoozer.

Quite a goodie CCM band...a balanced album IMO...a mix of rocking songs with softies...my faves are "Hard Road To Go","Prisoner","Miracles"(nice),"Stand Up And Fight","Miracles(this acoustic version takes over the original one IMO,very nice!) & "Rev Rider"...88/100

very good release for KING JAMES back in 94 with Rex s guitar work shining once again ,but with not many good songs that could push things further!totally agree with metalmaniac777 s review ..."hard road to go" and "prisoner" are the highlights
