These guys weren't bad from what I remember.

From: poison arrow Date: September 29, 2003 at 13:34
great cover art and green tray. That's what grabbed my attention, but the music is actually good as well. More of a 70s glam vibe, set to stonesy rock n roll ala flies on fire, if I remember correctly.

Stripped down twang metal outfit that would later become TV In Flames ("Love in Motion"). This release is not for everyone. Fans of over-produced bells and whistle bands (read: Beau Nasty, Valentine) may not appreciate the Cats' penchant for style over flair. This is really more classic rock than hair metal, but many bands got stuck with the label. My favs are "Bed of Roses" and "Standin..." Fun to have for a change of pace. TV In Flames was a great record too.

These guys have an interesting sound...it's kinda like if you were to put Great White and Kix in a blender, and throw in just a SMIDGE of country twang;very bluesy on some songs, with sleazy lyrics on others! I really like this cd,with Bed of Roses, Finger in the Pie,Standin' in the Rain, and Think About Love being my faves. Also, like poison arrow pointed out, if you can find this cd in its original case,it's REALLY cool looking. Pick this one up offa eBay or at the local record store today!8/10

This is really good. Bluesy/Country feel to it. An up-to-date version of Great White. Whiplash1972 made as accurate describtion as possible. It's a great album, and yes the cover looks extremely cool with the green tray.

From: PauloFernandes Date: November 4, 2003 at 23:01
Love the slide guitar on this one - gives it a whole new dimension- the songs could be better though - but still, a nice album - good vocals too.

I'm looking this CD since 1992 until now... The only song I've ever heard from them is Think About Love which included in Slow Rock Ballads from Warner Music that release on 1993. So, where I could find this records?? any idea?

From: Blue Tequila Date: November 21, 2003 at 0:37
www.melodicrock.com has the song "Standin' in the Rain" available for download right now in their soundbytes section.

Another nice find today w/the green cd tray intact. Whiplash1972 you absolutely nailed the description of this band. On the first few songs they are all over the road--bluesy 1st track, country rock 2nd, pop rock 3rd and then they settle back down to a good bluesy rock mix of Rolling Stones meet Great White. Very cool album.

This one lost my attention at the very first minute. I find it a boring record. It has no surprising things in it even though some of the song are played with an upright bass (That was the main thing buying it)

From: Geoff Date: August 29, 2004 at 20:16
This is another one of those CDs which provided me with a wonderful moment, seeing it leave my hands to the new purchaser. I kept it for a week or two, but in the end it was just so below par I had to rid myself of it. IMO, boring hard rock with absolutely nothing going for it.

Nothing beats Love Razor....that song rocks!!!! This CD is well worth it!

My wife's been looking for 'THINK ABOUT LOVE' for 11 years since the first time I sang her on my guitar. Couldn't find the song here in Indonesia. Any of you guys know where I can download this song only. Thanks alot dar2002id@hotmail.com

Love this one... "Bed of Roses" should've been a huge hit.

From: Chad Date: February 4, 2005 at 22:59
Can't believe it took me 14 years to discover this one! There is some good stuff on this one. Standouts include: Bed of Roses, Finger in the Pie, Love Razor and Shotgun Shack. If you like 70's infused rock, pick this one up. You may get lucky and get a copy with the cool lime green "radioactive" cd tray. Imagine the Stray Cats mating with the Black Crowes. Glowing Lime Green Bladio Crats....Or something like that. Whatever, get this one.

Chad, the band-name comes from the photographic art-piece "Radioactive Cats", created in 1980 by Sandy Skoglund, featuring cats the same as those on the cover of this album in a largely black and white background - here's a link to the piece http://www.getty.edu/artsednet/images/Skoglund/radioactive-l.jpeg Quite why they used this name or were so intrigued by this art, I don't know, but that's the origin of their name.

Hey - How weird!!! I went to high school with the Graves Bros and hung out at Ron's with them. What are you all up to now? Any new projects in the future?

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: December 29, 2005 at 12:59
This is straight up blues via "The Stones and maybe Motor City Rockers". Put that into the batter with a touch of early ZZ Top let it bake for an hour at 350' add some attitude and Andy Wallace' great production and Enjoy....

Great band! "Hold On Tight" is my favorite track on the cd. I got the CD for like $2 back in 1994. Since then it has been a valuable part of my collection.
