Excellent modern melodic metal. Superbly written and packs a punch. "Believe" opens the CD with a bang and "Roll On" could be a huge smash radio wise if handled right. "Stand" is an acoustic track done in an extremely classy way. If you like your metal hard and packing a punch, then this is for you. Take a chance on the ex-Blue Tears man, Gregg Fulkerson. This will hit you straight between the eyes.

Blue Tears this is not, but that doesn't mean Gregg can't evolve and still make a great album. This album is modern, edgy, melodic, epic rock. Roll On and In Another Life are fantastic. Were I a champion I would champion these tracks. Swept Away could be up there with them had it been given a little more love. If Attraction 65 top this album they risk becoming household names.

It's good release....i am actually very surprised by this cd......very modern sound but melodies are great...really this is what modern rock should sound....this not aor gem but a classy modern stuff far better than the second release of Alfonzetti... BTW: hey people from big labels....pick up this cd and I assure you that this will be a huge (in financial aspect too!!) band....I guarantee that....

This album kicks ass. This is the best I have ever heard. This is sure to go all the way.

From: Todd Date: November 27, 2003 at 11:39
Attraction 65 is by far one of the best bands out there right now, signed or unsigned. With a sound that comes across as Creed, 3 Doors Down, etc. but also with some 80's influences a la Bon Jovi and even Gregg's former band Blue Tears, A65 has a plethora of radio-friendly songs on this album. I've heard this album in the demo stages, and believe me, this is the best it's sounded. The best song on the album? Eden. It's not the typical sound like the rest of the songs, but it is awesome!

Sorry, this is everything I hate about music. Won't even call this music. Nu-breed is crap, nuff said !

From: vikingo Date: January 2, 2004 at 6:26

From: Scott Date: January 15, 2004 at 8:11
This sounds nothing like nu-breed. Songs like 'In Another Life' and 'Roll On' are just great melodic rock and 'Swept Away' is one of the best ballads of the year. People are too worried about categorising everything (and always have been). Just appreciate good songs without having to label them as one style or another. This album definitely makes my Top 10 albums of 2003. Well written, produced and performed, there isn't much wrong with this CD.

From: AOR freaky Date: January 15, 2004 at 9:03
This is certainly nu-breed and a very, very bad record. To put it short and simple : the kind of 'music (?)' that I loathe ! Period !

Great Modern Rock Group Album after Blue Tears era.Masterpiece Album!!

From: DANTE Date: February 18, 2004 at 12:43

I have Just bought this CD and i must say that this is a very good Album .most of the songs have a laid back feel to them, which is a plus if you've just been listening to some AC/DC Etc.. and want to detox on to something more mellow, this Cd would be a Great halfway house for you...Nice Acoustic sound with a hint of Harmonica. This is a very good Cd with some very good tracks on it.to call it crap(Aor freaky)is an insult to the musicians of Attraction 65.I agree there is a lot of "crap" bands out

From: Zach Date: March 30, 2004 at 22:39
AOR is great, however "AOR freaky" get out of the 70's. Attraction 65 and others in the like are fresh. Yes, AOR will still be around when this nu-breed style is dead and buried. However give your hate for nu-breed a rest. So go put on your oversized headphones and spin your record collection, just stop trashing nu-breed and melodic rock.

Great CD!!! It brought on my mind the golden era of U2!!! Check our the review on Grande-Rock.com which was chosen as the best album of the month - last year!!! Greetings from Hellas.

From: xavieskay Date: May 9, 2004 at 7:34
buenisimoooooo disco de modern rock, no tiene desperdicio!!! if you like it, you must get the album of VERTICAL HORIZON "GO"and the album of "THE RISING", they are great too!!

From: TIM (2) Date: May 12, 2004 at 9:27
I'm not a big nu-breed fan either, but I do recognise a great album when I hear one. Most of what I love in music was produced 15-20 years ago, and the Blue Tears album is one of my most played CDs. However nothing on there comes close to the depth and emotion of "In Another Life" or "Swept Away". I do think the CD loses it's direction in the middle a little, but either end of the album are some of the best examples of the whole rock genre I have ever heard.

What BT said!

I love great modern rock bands, and so called 'nu-breed', and although I do like this CD, I hate to say there are so many in this style that are much better. 'In another life' is simply stunning, and 'Swept away' is a gem too, but when these guys rock they just don't really do it for me. I love Blue Tears and Gregg's voice, but to me this is just very average. A couple of gems though.

From: Mallorcas rock Date: September 14, 2004 at 5:04

From: CC Date: October 16, 2004 at 19:22
Still undecided on what I feel about this one as there were no standout tracks for me. If I didnt already know this was Fulkerson I would never have guessed it as his voice sounds nothing like his Blue Tears days. Still not a bad effort!

From: Kip Date: December 14, 2004 at 8:31
I like almost everything here. I'm surprised this isn't getting better reviews. It's not new metal, it's melodic rock. And there's about 7 very good songs here, three of them being B-Sides from the Blue Tears album, so they are almost 15 years old. Call My Name, and Storm In My Heart are beautiful but Strong takes the cake. If you only give one song here a chance let it be that one. It's just a shame the 2nd half of the album is twice as good as the first half. 8/10

From: Aussie Dave Date: March 8, 2005 at 21:24
Gregg Fulkerson and Mike Spears from Blue Tears fame(?)are back, but with a slightly different twist. Gone is the hard rock Bon Jovi feel, and in is the modern rock sound! Yes i am a little dissapointed that this album isn't Blue Tears Part II, but the songs are just so damn strong, that you get over it pretty darn quick! I think Train is the only song i thought was boring, the rest of the album is very strong. Gregg Fulkerson should be a household name. A must buy for all music lovers. 9/10...
