Jim gillette was only 19 when he recorded this album and this was the beginning of NITRO, the coolest band ever. I consider Jim gillette the best singer ever and on this album you'll find some really cool songs like 'angel in white','head on' and 'make me crazy'. Bummer that the tuff demos and the other slut songs where Jim Gillette sang on are not included on this disc.Anyhow, fans of old school (speed) metal like Vinnie Vincent Invasion, racer x,executioner, victim etc etc should have this one |

I always thought he sounded like one of the chipmunks with NITRO. I'll have to give this one another listen. I have the first NITRO CD and it always makes me laugh listening to it. Anyone else out there think he is sining WAY to high? |

I think jim/nitro is/was one hellacious band!!! at a time when EVERYONE was trying to play faster and sing higher ,these guys set it on its ass!!! i still have the orig metal method tapes from about 15 yrs ago, i dont have jims range, but he did give me the ambition to follow my dream. would love to hear more, old or new from these guys |

The shredding guitars, pulverising bass and thunderous drums are nothing with out the vocal decimation of the one and only Jim Gillette. Out Fucking Rageous? You're damn right it is!! With Jim as my muse i can do no wrong. i travel this earth with only one aim in mind. To shatter all that can be shattered with my unmeasurable vocal range, as taught to me by Master Gillette. Mountains and Glaciers all crumble as i breath deep and let forth my ungodly wail. My enemies shatter into a gazillion unco |

Nitro is my favorite band ever....it´s so hard to find rare stuff from them....does anyone know how to get some live footage? Hope they reunite, it´d be great to hear another crazy record from the craziest band, and of course, the BEST vocalist ever.....Jim Gillette |

I really like the two over the top Nitro albums but this release just doesn't do it for me. It seems demo quality to my ears. One thing about going way overs in glam shenanigans, you really need good production to make it listenable. Sleazy bands can get away with modest production, but it doesn't work here. Still, I have this album and I am reluctant to part with it, even if I can only in good conscience grade it a C. As another poster said, Angel In White is the best track. |
