Released before the more well known 'The Beginning' album,Classic 80s AOR with lots of keyboards, comparable to the 1985 album of FORTUNE and HARLAN CAGE. Also some Pomp influences like LE ROUX. This album contains some brilliant pure classic 80s AOR with many keyboards, beautiful vocals and choruses as well as lovely AOR hooklines. |

Haven't heard this one, but if it's as good as 'In the Beginning', it's a must. |

The music is alright if you like lite AOR with keyboards. . The songs are well written and performed but it's just not the style of music that Rocks my world. |

This isnīt lite AOR! Lite AOR for me is more kind of 'Dakota' and this is not the same!It has plenty of guitars and keyboards all over it, just the sound that we all love about AOR.So if you like bands like FM (indiscreet) Atlantic and Airrace you should love this one too! |

This EP is better than the full length album. Songs are in the classic 80's AOR vein like FM or Airrace as mentioned above. I also DO NOT believe this is 'lite AOR' (whatever the hell thaty is!). VERY hard to find album from Ireland. I have a great CDR made from my original to trade if anyone wants a copy. 9.0/10! prod@kwcctv.com |

this is the original album - the other one is from a post-management coup bunch of journeymen trading on the goodwill of the originals - the larkins, the brians and stu. on a good night (remember the night Def Lep walked into the Ivy Rooms) they could have blown(-dried) anyone off stage. tight as the proverbial duck's arse... god be with the days! |

This is a bit overhyped, IMO. Yes, this album is drenched in keyboards, but that doesn't automatically make it a good AOR record. There's a few good songs here but the overall impression is ruined by a weak production and songs that sound "samey". Go for their 2nd album, which has better production and better songs. This is only recommended for die-hard AOR collectors. |

Basic AOR ala old school with some electronic drums added in parts, very enjoyable for some, dull for others probably,as 4 me goes,a good album."Save It" is a good song with good choruses,"I'm Getting Out" is good too "Karen 1" is a very good song and a highlighted one,"I Close My Eyes" a nice ballad,"Karen 2" followed the saga of Karen 1 as a very good song too,"Is This The End" is another goodie,"Miss You" is a smooth AOR track and "Can You Keep A Secret" closes the album,a very good track.Maybe as i said good for ones, simple for others.85/100 |
