These guys are really glammy, & excellent music. standout tracks are Be My Addiction, Rock This Wasteland, Hell's Door, & Unchain my heart. Very tough to find, but worth the search. |

Awesome cd, can't stop listening to this one - the music can be described as glammy altough there's some AOR touches - one of those rare cds where there isn't a filler to be found - yep, that good. Worth the search is an understatement, get this one on the top positions of your wantlist |

Listen to the song "Atomic Dog". It's very similar to Snoop Doggy Dog's anthem. This album was released in 1992, and Snoop's was released November 23 1993 according to his web site... |

This is just my opinion but don't waste your money on this one, really bad pop metal. Thats about it! |

sorry but the remake of the song 'tears of a clown ' is awfull, i prefer the enuff z'nuff version.. but the song 'devil in white' makes things up for that.. |
From: Lightningstrike | Date: January 3, 2005 at 15:52 |
This is in response to Tomcat's comment about "tears of a clown." The Enuff Z'Nuff song is "KISS THE CLOWN." They are two different titles...BTW, Ram rocks hard!!!!!!!!!!! |

Excellent quality AOR/Melodic rock filled with awesome melodies, harmonies and hooks to go fishing with. One of my favorite discs. There are some sleaze/glam elements heard in the band's sound, but the melodies shine through. |

Hello 80's Melodic Music Lovers!! Thank you everyone for the (mostly) flattering comments you have taken your unsolicited time out for, & our disc you spent your hard earned money on....RELEASE THE BEAST! I just want to say making & showcasing this disc back in the late 80's & 90's, were some of the best memories we'll ever have. We were an East Coast band that came a little too late on the scene. I can still remember shopping for gigs in Atlanta & hearing 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' for the first time in 91 or 92 & thinking...what is this crap? Sadly, the scene really did need to change, especially with the amount of cheese that made its way to our eyes & ears in its final days. Our stuff came from deep within & meant a lot to us. We wrote & played w/heart, & we'd do it all over again & not change a thing! We were lucky enough to play & tour with greats like Cheap Trick, Ratt, Slaughter, Warrant, Vince Neil, Firehouse & we'll always be proud!! Keep Rock Alive & Thanks Again! J.Nitro |

Great album!!!..solid,enjoyable!!!...voice perfect 4 these kinds of songs..."One Shot" is a killer starter, excellent,"Be My Addiction" is a track ala Def Leppard,"Devil In White" & "Lost In Love" are highlights,"Never Gonna Leave You" has some AOR vibe along with "Was It Love","Release The Beast" is a 100% ala Ugly Kid Joe & "Unchain My Heart" ends the album as a very pleasant semi acoustic ballad...don't think twice, listen to it!!!.91/100 |
