Recomendado. |

A very weak follow up to a good debut album. Songs are not well written and the lyrics pretty much suck. The hit on this album, 'Maybe i'm a fool' may very well be one of the worst top 40 hits in history. Music and vocal delivery on the songs 'Gimme some water' and 'Rock n roll the place' is all that saves this album from total disaster. But still i'm a big fan of his! Go figure! |

I'm a fan. Not his best, but there is some great stuff here. "Roan and Roll the Place" is great. "Gime Some Water" and "Can't Keep a Good Man Down" rock and "Love the Way you Love Me" and "maureen" are nice upbeat tunes. |

Eddie is undoubtebly one of the most notorious Rock/AOR singers in the business but somehow underrated(even in the 80's where he harvested some popularity)...in here he recorded quite an average album but it managed still to have some good or may i say acceptable songs in it such as "Can't Keep A Good Man Down","Give Me Some Water","Love The Way You Love Me","Maureen" & "Call On Me"(nice softy)...not good but neither a complete waste IMO...80/100 |

excellent release by EDDIE MONEY that captures exactly the vibe of that particular era !imagine a less guitar driven THE BABYS release of that time and you ll get an idea of its sound!the musicianship ,the songwriting ,everything its where it should and the whole resust satisfying!"gimme some water","life for the taking","maybe i m a fool" and "love the way you love me" are the highlights |
