'Take me home tonight','I wanna go back' and 'Endless nights' are great songs and, well, that's about it. Money's worst album in my opinion. |

Eddie passed away from esophageal cancer in 2019 at 70. Interesting guy, as I recall he had a reality show with his family in years before his death. He wrote “2 Tickets to Paradise,” but he never wrote a traffic ticket as there was a rumor he was a NY cop like his father. He actually only made it as far as a officer "trainee", before his music career took off. Money said before the making of his album "No Control" (1982). "I went out and bought a case and got real drunk and snorted some fentanyl, which is like a heroin substitute, which I thought was coke — which I don't advocate anymore," Money bluntly cautioned after the ordeal. "I Almost killed myself." This album is definitely the peak of the Money Man's career with "Take Me Home Tonight" reaching #1 US Rock (Billboard) and 11 singles in his discography hit the TOP 40. He sold 28+ million albums worldwide in his career. I like the deeper tracks here "Endless Nights" and "One Love" which you won't find on any greatest hits package. |
