Two weeks in (1/3 of the way through) and we've raised 17% of covering the site's annual out-of-pocket expenses, which is down a bit from where we were at this point last year. The drive will run through October 31, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.

If MCA hadn't shoved them back into the studio without giving them proper creative time, I'm sure they would've made a much better album... Half of this is solid, the other half seemingly made up as they went along in the studio... Another example of a label trying to cash in on a great product (Spellbound) by forcing a band into producing a follow-up when they're not prepared with decent material... They further screwed them by insisting they shift in a poppier direction on The Cage... |

If your interested in this album, there are 3 songs that are worthy: Do It Good, Raised On Rock and of course Stormlands, the best track. Since Tygers had less than a month to record this album, it's no wonder why this album falls into mediocrity (you can see that by some of songs' titles). Still, Do It Good, Raised On Rock and especially Stormlands are great songs, this last with its great bluesy riff, just rocks! |

I don't agree with the above!! One of the essential NWOBHM CD's to get. Spellbound is also good. Both of these CD's have John Sykes on guitar!! They are 2 different albums though. I've been listening to this since my vinyl dayz. Both albums are pretty much the same in production. Classic early 80's sound. Like the first Saxon,Iron Maiden....etc. LOVE IT ALL |

Good album but maybe without the flavour of the first. The 3 bonus tracks are the same from the limited edition of the vynil when it first came out.The vynil has a 12 inch single with the afformentioned bonus tracks.Anyway a great collector's piece of metal here!!!. |
