Excellent hard rock with crunching guitars and memorable choruses. Much in the vein of Pink Cream 69 and Bonfire. Great German hard rock with the lead singer of Threshold in tow before he went there. Excellent.

If you like Victory you are person of high intelligence and a really good looking individual with everything going for you... oh, and you'll love this CD too. One of my favourite CDs I have that I wish I'd gotten 4 years ago so I could have heard more often. I am so busy and get so many new discs these days that everytime I see anything on this CD I tell myself I must hear it again! Simply excellent CD with barely a filler! Extremely highly recommended!

AWESOME CD if you love hard rock like Firehouse, Victory, Whitesnake get this you will like OHHHHH yes you will like it...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

Produced by Tommy Newton(Victory) Sargant Fury is a hard hitting five piece rocking machine. Music wise can be compared to Dokken, Whitesnake, Leatherwolf and Victory. I give this album a 10/10 for its complete compositions and nice arrangements. The guitar solos are smoking but Mac's voice is heaven sent. Just listen to Just One Night, NO 9 and Love on the Run.

Compra o Muere.. 9.5/10

Yeah Geoff you are Right about Victory & Bonfire style i bought this album ten years ago and is one of my favorite albums of all the times simple Great 80's style Melodic Hard Rock personally recommend this Great & Killer album 10/10.

From: shark attack Date: December 3, 2007 at 10:42
Awesome hard rock complete with slamming production makes this a sonic orgasm as hot as a Jenna Jameson porno. Just like their cars you can trust the Germans to produce high quality metal and this does`nt disappoint. A must have for fans of Bonfire, Whitesnake, Beau Nasty and Tyketto. 86/100

Estupendo album de hard rock!. Realmente imperdible. Muy en la onda de bandas como Bonfire. Saludos. mundorock@gmail.com

From: sandro cro Date: June 10, 2009 at 8:11
the best sargant fury album-must have,specific style,not a clasic as bonfire-closer to mad max,roko,casanova

From: metalhead4life Date: June 11, 2009 at 10:00
I was kind of eager to get this one since I saw comparisons to Bonfire, Firehouse, and Victory. Well, to me this is those bands dulled down quite a bit and also take away the big choruses and catchy songs and that would be Sargant Fury. Production is also below standards to the bands mentioned. Just missed all around for me with the exception of maybe 2 songs that were ok. 70/100.

This band may appeal to Bonfire and Pink Cream 69 fans..an album with good songs. My faves were "Mindgames","Love Me" which is a great AOR track,"Stand Up","Love On The Run" and "Just One Night"..another interesting tracks are "Losing Control" a blast,"Don't You Know" a good ballad and "Slow 'N Easy" which is cool...good vocals by the way.86/100

From: rocksoul Date: November 27, 2010 at 12:25

From: 123charpenay Date: May 14, 2013 at 12:29
great german hard rock band in the vein of lovetrick;but nothing extraordinary, absoluty not at the same level (sorry for others comments)than bonfire, pink cream 69 or victory.a great but a second zone band.

From: Metal T Date: September 6, 2013 at 22:05
ALOT ballsier then Bonfire, more in line with Victory.Solid vox, good riffs, nice punchy sound...First 3 tunes punch you in the mouth-love the vox and riffs on No. 9 especially in the verse, good band! RIP to the singer (alot of talent there)

From: hair metal again Date: September 11, 2020 at 18:28
excellent debut for SARGANT FURY with that good classic German hard rockin sound that strongly reminds me of VICTORY!guitar driven commercial rock n roll with no fillers (maybe 1or 2) that will cheer you up with its energy and quality!"mindgames","love me","slow n easy" and "dont you know" are fine songs indeed!essential

Vocalist Andrew Mcdermott was actually from Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom. He is NOT German, which is why he doesn't have a German accent. He was/is mostly known for his work in the progressive metal band Threshold.
