the last release featuring Henk van der Laars on guitars. He was to much in control of the band and his departure really did them well. With Parry the band already took a new course and with Rondat they developped themselves beyond! They are on the rise...... |

If you like prog metal I guess you'll like this. I owned and sold this but must admit at the time I don't think I knew Ian Parry was on vocals. I didn't like it but I'm sure fans of this music would like it. |

Geoff,try to listen to"Lost",I think you'll love that one,very close to aor in melodies and some arrangements,too.The only negative aspect is about singer,too high...but"Lost"of Elegy is one of the best piece of melodick metal,IMO.Talkin'about this one...well,decent as decent is their followin'.Elegy are the first 3 cd's with some moments of"State of mind"too,nothin'else... |

Another time I was wrong also here,this one is great,Elegy are among my fave bands ever because they are also among my first ever listened over 12 years ago,see alto them on live(great guys!)around 1996 with Stratovarius(painful live for those other guys ahaha,Kotipelto horrible).Long live to Elegy!!! |
