If you notice that a particular Savatage CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Savatage are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

One of their best! It walks the line between traditional heavy metal and more commercial sounding hard rock quite well. The title track got a fair amount of radio play back in the day. Also, they do a close remake of Badfinger's "Day After Day" that displays more class than other metal bands are capable of. For someone who is just getting into the band, this is an ideal disc to start with.

The most commercial sounding Savatage album, and the album that almost wasn't. They wrote these song with the intention of other artists recording them, but their label made them record these songs. However, that being said, I believe this really is a good album, albeit not one the band is very fond of, but I enjoy it - especially the anthemic title track. I love the late Criss Oliva's guitar playing on here. His technique was brillant, and it only got better until his last work, Edge Of Thorns.

i don't know what happened on this album, it doesn't follow the pattern of the savatage trademark sound, there are great tracks but not the best cd

I imagine when this was released in 1986, the metal world could not believe what had happened to Savatage. In an excellent year for metal, with albums like Master of Puppets, Awaken the Guardian, Somewhere in Time, Reign in Blood, etc., being released, Savatage, a great metal band, releases this piece of garbage. The album just flat out sucks. I don't even recommend die-hard Savatage fans check out this album.

With this album Savatage went commercial...Whitewolf's comment of 2004 said it my case i did like this one quite favourites are "Fight For The Rock","Out On The Streets"(nice song, liked it),"Day After Day"(pretty nice cover of Badfinger),"The Edge Of Midnight"(Rocks good, catchy),"She's Only Rock'N'Roll"(hell yeah!),"Wishing Well(a better cover than the one of Badfinger, this is a Free original song) & "Red Light Paradise"(very consistent)...if you'd like to know a "lighter" Savatage then get it otherwise skip it,i'm gonna give this a "thumbs up" anyway...85/100
