If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Savatage CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Savatage are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This album is phenomenal - there's really something for everyone. It's a very dynamic album with lots of variance and mood shifts. This is the last album featuring the stellar guitar work of the late Criss Oliva. Criss was far more than another shredder - to the contrary, Criss was really an under-rated genius. Indeed, he was one of the best, most creative rock guitarists to ever pick up the instrument. His body of work with Savatage stands as a tesitmony to his outstanding ability. R.I.P.

A very poignant SAVA release. Released only months before Criss died,& containing his wife Dawn on the cover (who died in 2005), this was arguably the best line-up & arguably their greatest album. Bosnian Zak Stevens has to be the greatest vocal find in history, his mighty lungs are perfect for metal. This is filler-free perfection; the last 5 tracks particularly are unbelievable. Masterful performances (Oliva's guitar licks are breathtaking),awesome songwriting,& sadly the end of an era. 10/10.

With addition of super pipester Zak Stevens Savatage went for a kinda heavy but commercial deviation but whatever your thoughts, Edge is cutting brilliance. The title track huge and its sweeping arrangement almost prog wedged during its solo, in every way possible, the very definition of epic as is Follow Me with slightly less bigness... Some ball busters akin to the past are provided with Damien and He Carves His Stone. Lights Out is a blinder giving Zak the chance to prove his worth and Miles Away leans heavily into late 80's melody. Couple ballads most notable All That I Bleed which has since become a tribute to Chris and personal fave teary tune Sleep and its lush melody but this was Chris' album, here his guitaring is of the highest order and second to none! Everything about this one scored, tunes, performances, production and packaging and it was tragic Chris was lost soon after (RIP). My favorite Sav (remaster rules, nifty booklet chock full of info!) Highly recommended 9/10
