The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. These guys were always tight live and this isn't a bad album. Theres a lot of history here but I recommend The Eagle has Landed 1 for a good live introduction to this excellent band that is still waving the metal banner loud and proud..

A good live album with great songs like frozen Rainbow and Cruzader and a lot of other anthens.the production is the week point on this album, but fortunelly the british guys are too good to be smashed by a poor production.

From: Propane Date: December 1, 2004 at 10:07
I've seen them live and this is a good representation of that. Love 'em all! But Waylon is right about Eagle. Still, A must to round out the metal collection.

Saxon are a killer live band. This CD is very good. A good mix of songs 747, Wheels of Steel, Frozen Rainbow, Rock n Roll Gypsy, Rockin' Again and Back On The Streets. Long Live SAXON. Well worth having in your collection. Rated 8/10.
