If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Final Frontier CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Final Frontier are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Restless Heart and Last to Know are killer aor tunes. They got the air guitar going by the second listen. Huge vocals and great choruses. Some songs are weak though.

Bought this on the strength of the Last To Know released to Melodicrock.com. There's a reason this was the only song realeased to preview. The rest are AOR by the numbers clunkers. Too bad. The Last To Know is awesome.

'two strangers' is topclass melodic rock

This was my favorite release of 2003. (Even though it was released in November 2002). Something for every AOR taste whether you like early 80s Westcoast style ("Ambrosia"), Styx/Kharma style pomp ("Golden Years", "Forever's a Heartbeat Away") or just plain big sounding rockers ("The Last to Know"). Production is phenomenal, harmonies are incredible and the entire CD is very consistent throughout. An instant classic.

How AOR should be...Part1...

I really, really like this whole CD. The band is very listenable, but I just think the track 'Last to know' is so f*cking sensational that it brings me to love this CD! Such an awesome tune, and the rest of the album is very good too. Solid AOR / melodic rock release.

From: Swriter Date: February 17, 2005 at 20:50
now that I have all 3 Final Frontier albums, my vercict is that the Second Wave is the best all around in songs and prodution. This one is pretty good but with a weaker production, some really great songs on this one though. The Second Wave is the best and is my 04 2nd best pick.

From: TIM (2) Date: February 18, 2005 at 3:13
Agree completely Swriter, "The Second Wave" is their most consistent although I prefer the production of "High Tension Wire". This "First Wave" is the worst produced, and very tinny sounding, but is still a very high quality collection of tunes. "The Second Wave" was No.3 in my albums of 2004...

From: Erik Date: February 18, 2005 at 4:04
Amen to that Tim. Top band !

From: AOR freaky Date: February 18, 2005 at 4:24
The Second Wave is indeed their best and their latest 'High Tension Wire' is NOT good produced at all ! A pity, cause this is a great band !

Good album!!!...what i like about some of the songs in here is that Styx old fashioned feel in the choruses ...best songs for me are tracks 2,3,4(nice),5(Styx all over!),6,7(very nice),9(rocks!)& 11...Rob Moratti is such a great singer and i had the chance to him live while performing with legendary Prog masters Saga...enjoyable album...87/100
