Weak. They lost all the powerfull elements that made tehir debute a classic. SOme single standouts but just a few and nothing that can be compared with Mydra I. No groovy, catchie well produced, unique melodic songs. More dirty rock, than anyother thing. The keyboards miss in teh way. |

The only difference between Mydra I and II, is the replacment of the singer. Compared to Mydra 1, it seems that for Mydra II they`ve actually got in a singer who has a range and can sing ballards aswell as the rocky stuff. The production sounds a lot fresher and it`s more....how you say, BALLS TO THE WALL!!.... excellent. |

'Mydra II', all in all, is more consistently hard rock than the debut, and as such marks a slight shift in musical direction. Keith Ellis is, I suspect, the kind of singer you will either love or hate-I personally find he reminds me of a nicely updated Ian Gillan, and Mr Ellis also proves that he has the ability to vary his vocal delivery to match the songs. I would furthermore like to stress that the production is better than most. As such, 'Mydra II' comes thoroughly recommended! |

I have both, their debut and Mydra II and I have to say Mydra II has a great live feel to it. I also found out from their website, www.mydra.com, that they are ready to release the 3 CD - something about a bullet..... can`t wait |

I agree with Danny - Mydra II is one of the highlights of 2002. Keep up the good work |

These guys remind me of Mennen and bands of the like. I mentioned one the other day but forget now. Good solid hard rock, well played but just not sky rocketing into excellence with the necessary killer tracks. Pretty good hard rock. Not as good as Mennen, IMO. |

Great record. A shame that it took so long to release it. Better then most of stuff which is recorded today. I love it. A new one is comming out pretty soon. |
