Existing comments about this CD

From: Blaster Date: October 28, 2003 at 23:33
This album is mediocre, and i really enjoyed the first one. Its very repetitive and sounds more 80s with that kind of light piano keyboard from 80s AOR. Buy the first album, skip this one.

From: James Date: January 31, 2004 at 8:23
I thought the same as Blaster at first, second listen. Then the pure brilliance of 'Totally Stupid' and the wonderful 'End of our Lives' started to work their magic, and now, it is rarely out my car cd player. The album is not as immediate as the first one, more of a grower, but actually better for that. Think operatic style of Meatloaf meets enormously produced choruses of Def Leppard, plus a spicing of choirs to beef up the vocals, and you have an absolute corker. Give this album a chance!

From: Snooby Date: July 17, 2004 at 12:34
Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it's rubbish.

From: AOR freaky Date: July 17, 2004 at 15:09
Snooby, I'm afraid if we talk about rubbish, that this is a nice CD to show everyone out there what rubbish exactly means. If you like it, good for you : but it is and will always be rubbish ! Sorry !

From: Rycheage Date: July 17, 2004 at 15:37
This is absolute crap. I usually try to find SOMETHING redeeming about every album I hear, but this has none. Avoid.

From: Slik Vicc Date: July 20, 2004 at 12:51
Well thanks Snooby, you seemed to have grasped the concept of the review section...err, maybe not! This album blows!! Maybe your feeling cheated that you were one of those who bought 'another' album of this shit. I would bet however that you don't bother with Andrew WC's next monosyllabic dude-fest....and if you do you spend your hard earned wages from McDonalds on this 'rubbish' you and your skateboarding buddies deserve everything you get.

From: Stevie St Ford Date: July 21, 2004 at 6:54
Leave it out Slik, as a dedicated disciple of the 'White Killer' I will be at the front of the queue when his next opus is released. In all likelihood I WILL BE the queue but who cares, I'd rather listen to this than tripe such as Lillian Axe and Cats In Boots! Hell, AWK would eat those jessies alive! ROCK ON!

From: Slik Vicc Date: July 21, 2004 at 8:23
St Ford, don't worry too much about that 'one man deep' queue that your bleating on about, trust me it won't exist as 'NO ONE BUYS THIS SHIT BUT YOU AND THE TWO OTHER LOSERS ON THIS SITE!!!' As for Lillian Axe and Cats in Boots you've never even heard them...in fact you've only been listening to this type of music for a few weeks, before that Drowning Pool and Saliva soundtracked your pathetic 'twenty-something bedroom dwelling lifestyle!!!' Your opinons & your youth have been officially been 'S

From: AOR freaky Date: July 21, 2004 at 10:30
Stevie, please ! Be serious ! Admit that this is maybe the biggest crap on these pages ! And both Lillian Axe and Cats In Boots (although not among my faves) have more talent in one finger than this guy in his whole body ! Sorry, sometimes the truth hurts !!!

From: Stevie St Ford Date: July 21, 2004 at 12:50
To be honest I have no idea why Andrew WK is actually on this website to begin with as he has very little in common with the artists this site is dedicated to. HOWEVER, someone even more philosopical than my good self once said that there are only two types of music, good and bad. IMO this is good. Okay, it's never gonna change the world but for god's sake people, open your minds! Don't discriminate just because he doesn't have an 80's mullet which you losers would make compulsory.

From: AOR freaky Date: July 21, 2004 at 17:13
Stevie : we losers ? You even admit that it don't belong here, so why should we like this rubbish ? ! ?

From: Stevie St Ford Date: July 22, 2004 at 4:56
So Freakmeister, you are saying that the only music you like is contained within this website??? Bit narrow minded in my humble opinion, there are other types of music besides 80's metal, or are you still under the impression it's 1987?

From: AOR freaky Date: July 22, 2004 at 6:07
No, but you admit it by yourselves that it has no place here ! By the way : the name of the site is still : Heavy Harmonies : the hardrock and AOR Feference on the Internet. Clear enough ? ! Think so !

From: G Child Date: September 13, 2004 at 18:54
Most excellent debate guys, very much in the W.K. spirit...not sure how much mileage there is in this, but I'm hoping for one more killer album and live blast off. James is right, this is more of a grower than the first album but well worth a go.

From: rocknroll Date: November 4, 2004 at 19:18
to me Andrew is... strange. He has classical style, 80's and some kind of the freak of the 90's grunge. Some musics rock some really sucks so I think I can hate and love him at the same time Cheers

From: Carmine Rose Date: December 18, 2004 at 21:54
I probably won't win anyone over with this comment, but I have to say I like this album better than I Get Wet. Why? I'm not by any means saying that I Get Wet wasn't good, but Andrew's band really shows what they are capable of here, in other words the musicianship is just better all around. They are very competent musicians. I heard Andrew is working on a new album for release in 2005, I hope it features the same guys from this album.

From: juan carlos Date: October 1, 2008 at 1:28
Donald Tardy from OBITUARY!! Just for him i put 7/10 to this album, just for him!! Andrew & ****?? KK!!! OBITUARY RULES!!!!
