If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular 7 Months CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from 7 Months are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This is like a dehydrated version of Dream Theater. Too AOR to be prog, too prog to be AOR.

As koogles points out, it'd be hard to label these guys...I guess progressive AOR might be the only way to define these guys. Nothing groundbreaking or earth-shaking here, but not a bad effort by any means.Fans of Dream Theater's style of prog OR Kansas style AOR may enjoy this release....which you can actually download at: http://www.7months.com/hear7months.html or you can usually pick this one up fairly cheap off of eBay.

These guys are good but it seems that they don't know which genre of music to play. The vocalist is good and the musicianship is excellent. "Change" and "Senorita Serenade" are the standout tracks. Koogles said it best. Too AOR to be prog and Too prog to be AOR. But it is a good mix of the two. If you are up for an experiment with open ears, then I recommend this one.

I really like this, wouldn't say it's my favorite but it's defnitely solid musically. Keys, but not too much keys. Obviously talented musicians, decent production. I wouldn't pay too much for it, but as Whiplash mentions, you can download it for free and there aint nothin' wrong with that price.

abosolutelly crap n' roll. We don't need this one.

I've heard many worse. Not the best album I've ever heard by any means, but not bad at all. I guess there is a lot of truth in not able to be defining them as one style, which is not always bad, but the combination of a style I like a style I'm not too into does not really transfer itself into something I really dig. Pretty cool, though.

Who says AOR and Prog can't co-exist? Didn't Prophet, GTR, and Kansas prove that wrong? Fact is, there's some crafty, excellent musicianship within the 7 Months release, and it's not so offensively progressive to be unenjoyable by short attention spans. A unique and enjoyable release, and probably the least deserving 4 or less rating I've seen on this site so far IMO.

i think someone has been messing with the ratings on this one. This is a rather unusual sounding record however it really grows on you. Great musicianship and production. i really enjoy this release. also has some decent lyrics

Pretty good record of prog tinged AOR. They also do a version of Ask The Lonely which you can download from their website...certainly one of the more respectable Journey cover versions I have heard. The song Change is superb. Recommended.

From: Kralli Date: April 28, 2011 at 14:30
Production is okey, better than many other total failures that are so common in this genre. Change is an amazing song, totally amazing. The rest isn't close. Some okey moments but that's it.
