If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Persia CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Persia are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Does anyone know who played drums on this CD? It sure wasn't Dave Wrenn. Check the back of an original CD release for the answer, not this reissue by Ironworks.

From: Carmine Rose Date: April 28, 2004 at 22:12
Is this the same Persia which Larry Atello played for?

From: RTR Date: May 5, 2004 at 13:00
Same Band but, This was long before Atello played with them. Hell even Dave Wrenn did'nt play drums on this one. For some reason, (in error) he is listed here. He also "posed" for the photo.

I have a four song tape by these guys from 1993. Is there anything else out there except these two four song releases???

From: Jo' Jo's Circu Date: November 23, 2004 at 16:59
Check out the 1987 Release from Persia - Ready to Rock. It was a 6-song release and is quite hard to find. This release was their first and probably best. The original members played on both releases, but the above EP of 1991 shows Dave Wrenn as the drummer, which he was fucking not, but made the photo and never played on the CD. There ya go!!!

Sensational ep of pure melodick hard rock/metal.IMO the right comparrison could be with Dokken,Melidian with some keyboards oriented ala Tour De Force.I like this guys, they rock!!!

From: Dillon Wrenn Date: February 1, 2005 at 13:40
Dave Wrenn is the greatest drummer I have ever heard in my life. He is the best. He rocks out loud. Yeah!!!!!!!!

From: Date: February 2, 2005 at 16:47
Dillon, we are only mentioning that he didnt play on this CD, but is given credit for it and posed for the photo. True Fucking fact!

From: AIS-REP Date: June 9, 2005 at 11:05

Cool Walter? nah! Fantastic HardRock/Metal EP, Killer Choruses, solos, sound, vocals.. Yeah I like "Tonight" a lot but the rest are totally killers too, just listen "In for the Kill". One of the best EPs.. 9/10

From: Spears Date: November 22, 2010 at 20:10
I Know this page has not been active since 2008....But, I was wondering if ANYONE had any Persia paraphernalia or even a CD they were willing to sell. the reason is I work for Rik and he wont talk about his band days, so I need to get as much as i can. please e-mail at taj138@live.com

At one point in time, you had to be as wealthy as an Arabian prince in order to afford a copy of this CD, but its price has somewhat declined in recent years (though it's still not exactly what you would call dirt cheap). Regardless of cost, this is a pretty kickin' hard rock/hair-metal indie and any fan of the genre should have no qualms about picking it up.
