This album is great!!! Ace is awsome. I like his solo stuff, a change to show his real talent. Rock on Ace!!

From: paul Rogers Date: March 21, 2001 at 16:29
Ace is the man. Makes Kiss sound like Abba Frehley's Comet kicks ass!!!!!

From: koogles Date: January 3, 2002 at 7:20
Easily as good (if not better) than anything Kiss was doing around the same time. (Note: his excellent cover of 707's "Megaforce" is "Calling To You" and was omitted from the above track list.)

From: curt Date: March 16, 2002 at 0:53
Koogles what's up with the track calling to you because I have it on mine. Why did they omit it?

From: Real Rocker Date: March 22, 2002 at 12:34
Hey the singer on the Megaforce Calling To You version sounds the same as the Ace Version???Whats up with that? Why would Ace cover this? Anyone?

From: Erik Date: July 14, 2002 at 0:32
I have that cd and it was Todd somthing, the other singer. He left after the second sighting cd I think.

From: Desslar Date: July 14, 2002 at 16:05
Solid, fun, if unexceptional album. Sometimes silly, but good for parties. Calling to You is a great song.

From: Rockforever Date: July 23, 2002 at 14:09
True, this record is nothing exceptional, and is no way as good as Ace's self-titled album in 1978. However, it was far superior to what Kiss were doing at the time (the unbelievably awful Crazy Nights album was released same year as this),and it is also far better than what the vast majority of the 'hair-metal' scene was coming out with at the time. Good (if not outstanding) vocals from Ace, and as always quality, bluesy energetic guitar playing. Fun, no-nonsense rocknroll record.

From: Reno Date: July 23, 2002 at 19:06
To tell you the truth, I really liked this cd when it came out, But I think that the songs that Tod sings on are better written than Ace's songs. He's got a more melodic voice and better material. Ace was an average guitarist, but nowhere near exceptional. If you listen to the entire Kiss catalog, he manages to duplicate the same guitar solo on about 10-15 songs. Not to inventive. Like Gene had said once, Ace never developed as a guitar player. Something Moved is the best song on this cd.

From: Richard H Date: September 27, 2002 at 1:25
Hey Ace is Ace Reno.Listen to Kiss Alive I & II and you'll know why Ace was an integral part of Kiss and their influence on the rock & roll industry.Gene may have said that Ace never really developed as a guitarist but I don't think he needs to compete with anyone , he's made his mark in history already .He's also had the most successful solo releases outside of Kiss compared to the other members(past and present).

From: Reno Date: September 27, 2002 at 6:18
So thats why Gene and Paul did 90% of the writing huh? Ace had a stage persona like no other, but that still doesn't say anything about his playing. Gimmicks work for alot of people, but there are those who also look for talent. He was ok for what he played, but he couldn't hold a candle to alot of the other guitarists Kiss has had. His solo stuff sold because he was in Kiss. If he never were, no one would have ever heard of him. This is coming from a huge Kiss fan also.

From: Chuck West Date: February 13, 2003 at 20:40
Still drumming in Europe, my high-school guitarist had played on Frehley´Comet as a guest during his college in California. His name is Mike Pesta. Please inform why I find no credit for his part in band line-up mentions. We still stay in contact, though, an ocean apart. What´s up with that Ace F.?

From: BYRDMAN69 Date: May 9, 2003 at 20:13
THIS IS SOME ROCKING MUSIC! ROCK SOLDIERS....INTO THE NIGHT.......WE GOT YOUR ROCK....ARE THE BEST JAMS. CRANK IT UP LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: lover of krel Date: May 20, 2003 at 6:19
yea this studio album rocks, but I don't think he plays that well judging by the kiss alive albums!!! However this album rocks!!!!

From: John Date: August 13, 2003 at 13:55
Ace's voice is terrible and I just don't care. A fun hard rock album. He plays really well on this album.

From: keebler Date: October 8, 2003 at 2:48
i think this cd really rocks great cd.

From: T-Bone Date: May 6, 2004 at 15:46
Tod Howarth was with the band 707 back in 1982-83 and wrote the song Megaforce with the band. When he joined Frehley's Comet, he redid the tune and changed the title to Calling To You for this cd. Both versions are great

From: Keith Date: September 9, 2004 at 7:29
A superb album fro the Space Man. The songs are hard rock riff-driven tunes which are very easy to listen to. Breakout, Something Moved and Rock Soldiers are the highlights, although the whole album is fantastic throughout. The only track I felt was a bit weak is Dolls. "Give It To Me Anway" or "Animal" would have been better inclusions instead. Ace and Todd belnd seamlessly, a pity we didn't hear more from the lineup. 9.5/10

FUCKING GOOD ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: September 15, 2007 at 20:49

From: shoemaker Date: September 16, 2007 at 11:39
This is average!

From: Rycheage Date: September 16, 2007 at 12:57
Not a bad release but pales in comparison to his 78 solo record. "Rock Soldiers", "Into The Night" and "Breakout" highlight this. Ace is an average singer but gets the most out of his limited range. His guitar work is still stellar.

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 16, 2007 at 16:00

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 16, 2007 at 16:01

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 16, 2007 at 16:02

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 16, 2007 at 16:04

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: September 17, 2007 at 22:02

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: September 17, 2007 at 22:09
