Big, over-the-top melodic arena-rock is what this band is all about and you'd have to search far & wide for a better example. Vocalist John Blaze (ex-Scarecrow) is one of the top singers in the game, blessed with a voice designed to belt out tunes with power & authority. Some of these songs first appeared on Scarecrow's debut, but many others are new, meaning fans of Blaze--or just great melodic hard rock in general--will want to pick this one up and rock the night away.

From: Rycheage Date: January 15, 2004 at 0:30
This CD comes from the school of 'never too big' hard rock, with most of the album true to from with over the top and in your face vocals and piercing guitar howling. A recommended CD for lovers of completely over the top American stadium rock and for fans of really gravelly, rough and raspy vocals. Album number two - what will be their first complete start to finish album should be a major step up.

From: Cruise Date: April 3, 2004 at 21:22
Despite the obvious split between recording sessions this is a really good album of classy American hard rock. Great songs and a similar vibe to House Of Lords or Tour De Force. Like Rycheage says, album 2 could be the real deal.

I agree but the production is lousy...

Obviously if you like Scarecrow, check this CD out. The vocals sound like they've been dragged through the sand on 1001 Arabian nights, but that's not to say they're bad. I kind of like the rough, hard approach and tracks like the opener, 'Till the day I die', 'Runaway Renee' and 'Waiting' are all very nice. Good solid hard rock disc.

From: juan carlos Date: April 21, 2007 at 11:37
Hardrock Rules!! Discazo. 8.8/10

Very Good Hard Rock, totalmente de acuerdo muy buen disco hay temas desde Hard Rock puro otros Hard Melodicos y algunos que rozan el Metal lo que mas me gusta de este disco sin duda son esos solos de guitarra de lejos lo mejor como en antaño y la produccion esta Ok no hay porque quejarse, cortes hay varios uno personal Till The Day I Die pero en conjunto el disco cumple entonces si te gusta un album de Hard Rock lleno de energia no te olvides de este trabajo 8.5/10

Scarecrow was a 7 their Touch Of Madness an 8 this one,s another 7, not quite the gutteral blast of Madness and of course very in tune with the original Scarecrow considering there,s a number of tunes brought to this one from that first release... Renee the title track and the fantastic opening class of Heart Of A Lonely Hunter are all outta the box great and there,s a few more goodies to be had but overall something gets lost with the more melodic approach this time maybe too much shine not enough I dunno, kick ass metal? Either way those more inclined to bathe in AOR or the well worn but brilliant era of the hair should pick this one up fer sure! Regardless of whether this is up to par it's worth owning simply because it's a blast to hear this stuff being done so well when it wasn't so fashionable... so do yourselves a favor and pick it up and enjoy cause a 7/10 is pretty solid in my books. Oh and thanks to HH for listing and bringing this one to my attention way back! Cheers!

i ve this cd in my collection since 2001.my first comment was right but very short.so i will complete it a little.arabia play a pure hard u s hard rock with irresistibles choruses.track 4 is a guenine baton rouge song writen by jack ponti.the rest, except track 10 (the singer rise his voice too much),is excellent and is top class american hard rock with choruses made in america for stadium.for make short a very solid and very great hard u s record.

OK if anyone can listen to "runaway Rene" and "1001 Nights" and NOT have a smile on your face you need to check your pulse, see if you're still breathing. Awesome tracks...awesome cd. BTW> does anyone else hear a little Robin McCauley in the singer's voice??

From: 123charpenay Date: August 29, 2020 at 19:58
robin mac auley is better no doubt.
