If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Europe CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Europe are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This is what Europe were all about. After hearing the new album they chose a good time to draw a line under the old material, and this is the definitive collection. As always there are some odd choices, "...Mind in the Gutter" and "Ready or Not" were just fillers IMO. "Just the Beginning" and "Talk to Me" would've been better choices. And where is the "Prisoners.." out-take "Stranded", an awesome slice of AOR? Otherwise a good and comprehensive collection, from what WAS a great band. 9/10.

Cool best of album. I have this on DVD. Not with so many songs but with rare recordings from the early 80s and video clips. Europe were one of the most important Hard rock/melodic metal bands in those days like everybody already know of course.

Recopilatorio bestial con el regalo d canciones ineditas bestiales, nada mas.EUROPE FOREVER!!!!!!!

Fantastic!!! Great to have some live tracks and outtakes on there. I love "Here comes the Night". I agree with Tim that "Just the Beginning" and "Talk to Me" should have been on there, great tracks. Did we need "The King will Return" Perhaps "Dance the Night Away" instead?.... Nevertheless, This is truly marvellous and the inclusion of "I'll Cry For You" acoustic version is true genius and so much better than the original. I like their new CD, they ARE STILL a great Band.

Otra gran recopilaciōn,sin desperdicio y donde a mi juicio quedaron afuera dos pequeņas joyitas como Coast to Coast y Tomorrow del excelso Out of This World.Por lo demās estān todas las canciones que cualquier fan de la banda hubiera elegido, con la perlita que es la version acųstica de I`ll cry for you. De los inčditos Here comes the night, sobresale del resto. Disco perfecto por donde se lo mire como para cerrar la primera etapa de la banda.10/10. carro_martin2000@yahoo.com.ar

IMO Europe's theme song 'The Final Countdown', heard in sports stadiums around the globe hasn't aged well. I like a hand full of the band's songs but not enough to give any of their releases semi frequent rotation on my cd player.Europe was never a 'top tier' act in the states as they didn't have enough of a draw to headline stadium type venues. A good band with an above average guitar player as I prefer a couple of John Norum's heavier edged solo releases compared to Europe as a whole. Norum left the band in 86'(latter to return) to pursue a solo career saying "We became this teeny-bopper bubble gum band and I hated the whole image"

This is the ultimate Europe compilation per excellence...a compilation that covers all the stages of the band...plus some "rarities"...if you are a fan or you haven't listened to any Europe song or album (something that i doubt if u are a self respected rocker,)then this one is a GREAT option!...you can ROCK THE NIGHT and all nights with this compilation..buy and enjoy!.100/100.

You bet, Rick Kerch Vzla! No less than 5 !! outtake tracks from the Prisoners In Paradise sessions (only other outtake is Break Free, on the I'll Cry For You CD-single and on the Japanese CD.). 11 Prisoners In Paradise songs in total on this 2-CD compilation! It includes the best songs from both the Norum and Marcello albums, and some extra rarities and live recordings too. All the remastering is done by professionals here (luckily no overcompression nor loudness insanity where treble and bass are over-enhanced). This is a perfect more or less compilation over the years 1983--1991. During the TV-recorded concert "Festival de Viņa in Chile" 1990, they played Seventh Sign and Bad Blood, two somewhat heavier songs. Europe wanted the album to be released under the name "Seventh Sign" already in 1990, but the record company was not satisfied with the material Europe had recorded and demanded more. If the album was out in 1990, with focus on heavier material, who knows what had happened?!
