The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Girl CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Girl are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

As far as I know, this album was released after the band had broke up. Phil Lewis went on to short stints with The London Cowboys, Airrace, Torme and finally settling in LA Guns around 1986. Phil Collen was immediately picked up by Def Leppard in late 82 or so. From what I know, this album is mostly made up of Demos and B-Sides. It sounds very good for demo's. 8/10 |

This was Intended as their 3rd album, but they split after they recorded it. 'Love Is A Game' was released as a single but the album has never seen the light of day until 2000 and then only as a Japanese Import (on the Nippon Crown label if anyone is interested). Also included are demos etc from the same sessions.Easier and more readily avaliable is a compilation called 'My Number' which includes 10 of the tracks from this release along with most of the songs from the first 2 albums. Reccomended |

Why the hell a band full of boys might call themselves "Girl" (I always look like fine female fronted rock --now I'm disappointed again..). Second Question: How can the eBay-average be "$0.00" --is the band really as bad ?? |
From: Nick Clarkson | Date: September 23, 2004 at 17:30 |
Yep Japan release only. Just before Girl split up the demo's for the forthcoming third album were doing the rounds. In fact their version of Nutbush City Limits even appeared in DJ Neal Kays chart in an early Kerrang!!! It is indeed made up of excellent demos ... most of which were recorded for the potential 3rd album although some are on rough mixes of the Wasted Youth album, Green Light and I think White Prophet. |
