This one is just about perfect, easily in my all time top 10 indies. Although it has only seven songs, ALL of them are VERY good, sounds a lot like Big Bang Babies st or Black Market. GET IT

Heard one track from this one (Thanx Paulo), AMAZING!!! If the rest of the album is as good as the one song I've heard, then Oh My God!!

I still listen to this CD often. I remember how much fun their live shows were when I saw them in the early 90's. I loved them then, and love them now.

The Shine Candy Shine Ep was very special to me as a teenager forming a glam band in the early 90's. I listened to that cassette for many years. This is a great continuation of the bubblegum glam that the band started. They never broke out of underground status but if you get this cd you will not be disapointed. Very melodic stickey sweet gloss glam at its finest! 10/10

From: Geoff Date: August 15, 2006 at 3:02
There's a full 12 song album of these guys you can get at, is it CD Baby? I think so. Either way, that version's well worth it because you'll want to hear as much as you can from these guys. Excellent sense of melody and hook-writing. The choruses are awesome and this is a great melodic commercial glam release. Well worth tracking down.

If you're craving a Christian band (without the overt Christian lyrics) that sounds similar to early Poison, then this CD will send excitement shivering through you like a high voltage electrical current. Fall in love with the glammy guitars, sway your body to the delicious hooks, and listen in wonder to the generous layers of harmony vocals. The requisite ballad, "Never too Much," is an absolute highlight, easily ranking among my favorite Christian rock/metal ballads, and superb enough to give you a melodic buzz for the rest of the day. Do you need this CD in order to maintain harmony in your life? Probably not, but why risk it?

From: Delbert Date: January 6, 2010 at 11:58
Yep...agree with the above comments. Electrik has been famous in the metal underground since their stunning performance at Cornerstone 91. Their glam/pop metal features catchy sing-along choruses. This is CD will appeal to fans of POISON, WARRANT, BON JOVI, and mid-period WHITECROSS.

I didnīt know this album but i know their other Album called"Shine Candy"....Ep and itīs absolut boring......songs seems like a pop version from Poison!!!

very good debut by ELECTRIK back in 93 ,which is rereleased with some extra stuff recently!i got the reissue and i am very impressed by the style, the sound and the hooks of this band!the whole vibe is commercial ,sometimes hard rockin ,sometimes more glam or even poppish !many hooks all around and a cd that is on the feel good side!highlights are "krush my groove(make a wish)","good thing","under a rainbow" and "shine candy shine"!recommended for cool hard rockers

This indie Christian metal band released a fine slice of Cheap Trick inspired pop metal. I have the Retroarchives edition that includes early demo's and also some early 2000s bonus tracks. I put this album up there with the first Enuff Znuff album. And if you like that sun-soaked power pop sound, you'll love this. Best tracks are Blindman's Holiday which shoulda been all over the radio. And, Good Thing which is not false advertising. Excellent album I listen to every year. Grade A.
