This is a great disc. Bernie Shaw has a huge set of pipes & it shows here. Meanwhile, Box & company deliver the goods. "Blood Red Roses" is stunningly melodic & heavy. "More Fool You" cranks the decibal levels as well. "Lifeline" is a moody rocker & the list goes on. This disc is loaded & even has a killer live version of "Too Scared To Run". Top to bottom, this is a must own for any Uriah Heep fan. |

A very good album of Hard Rock with a strong AOR influence in the songs,so,the right combination is at hand in here ...i own the first CD pressing of the album(10 tracks)...my faves are "Blood Red Roses","Rich Kid","Cry Freedom","Bad Bad Man","When The War Is Over"(nice cover)& "Rough Justice"...enjoyable stuff indeed...88/100 |

excellent release indeed for URIAH HEEP back in 89 with Mick doing again a great job in performing and songwriting with a fine commercial sound and many great songs like "blood red roses","cry freedom","rich kid","when the war is over"!highly recommended |
