From: TIM (2) Date: July 12, 2004 at 6:03
Another long lost 80's gem this one, loads of keyboards, ultra smooth vocals, and some great songs. Pretty cheap to get, and well worth it. Sounding a little like REO Speedwagon at their up-tempo AOR best (?!) this is really strong keyboard-driven AOR with barely a filler track. 8.5/10.

3 años despues de haber editado con la banda Synch aquel interesante "Get The Feelin" reaparece Jimmy Harnen con un discazo AOR de primer nivel, para mayor deleite aqui se dan cita músicos de auténtico lujo para tocar algunos temas que son joyas absolutas del AOR como pueden ser "When The Midnight Come","All Those Tears" o "For All The Wrong Reasons",luego tb hay otros ciertamente competentes como las baladas "If She Cries" y "Where Are You Now" (esta era de su época en Synch),lo dicho GRAN AOR.

Great aor with a westcoast approach sometimes. No fillers, just aor of high quality,a mix between R.Marx and R.Mathews is the best way to describe this singer. Some tracks are killer such as"Hello","When the Midnight Comes"and"I don't mind".The ballad"If she cries"is excellent.Great cd recommended if you like this kind of music,8.5/10.

Good AOR album, que mas cabe acotar a lo dicho por Jose y Robert, Buen album de AOR hecho para el delite de todos los amantes de este estilo y del Rock en general No Reason in the World, When the Midnight Comes, For All the Wrong Reasons, If She Cries, Where Are You Now, Boy in Love, Hello quiza no haya un tema Demoledor pero en si es un album muy parejo que cuenta con un par de buenas baladas y buenos cortes de buen ritmo, claro otros mas rockeros, estilo ala Richard Marx.

very very rare cd s.not a classic not a jewel but a very very great westcoast aor record.recomanded.

From: newscandi Date: November 9, 2011 at 17:33
Hi 123charpenay that says unfortunatly...nothing at all. For me it goes like this: "It's not good, but not bad. It's better than bad but not as good as really good is. I mean really really good. But not really really bad. More of good than bad." SO WHAT????

From: newscandi Date: November 9, 2011 at 17:39
But maybe more in the direction of "not so good" because 'cos "very very great" means nothing than not a real great thing. And real great, of course, is actually almost everything here. SO WHAT SHOULD I THINK ABOUT YOUR STATEMENT? IS THERE ANY REAL CONCLUSION? --I don't think so, as mostly when talking with north american guys.

From: 123charpenay Date: November 10, 2011 at 4:06
hi new scandi.sorry to not be a north american guy.i am only a french fan of hard rock n roll.i am 52 and i stop to learn english at school when i was 17.so my english is a little limited.if you want speak french with me ok it will be more easy for me.i think my comment about jimmi harnen was clear.the conclusion is this cd is very very great but it is not in my top list.the 20 or 30 records you bring with you on a desert island until the end of your life.i am sure now you understand what there is in my mind about jimmi harnen.i give 15/20 to this record.i am waiting your answer.best regards from the most beautiful country of the world.FRANCE.

From: 123charpenay Date: November 10, 2011 at 4:11
to newscandi.i imagine you are from norway or sweden.you are very lucky cause your countries are are real rock countries.in france it is a nightmare at tv and radio whe have only rap or poor variety.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 10, 2011 at 20:23
Trust,Ocean,Warning & The Element those were some good french bands

From: newscandi Date: November 11, 2011 at 17:36
Sorry, I thougt you were from over there. It's a typically statement for an US/CAN guy. If it offence the US/CAN people - it wasn't meant as hard as it sounds. Sorry again. @ 123charpenay: Now you made it clear. But it's no westcoast for me. For me westcoast is TIME GALLERY, 2AM, WEST OF SUNSET, JAY GRAYDON and such things. At least it's very american westcoast, more in the AOR direction as BENNY MARDONES, VAN STEPHENSON or so.

From: newscandi Date: November 11, 2011 at 17:37
That means I don't like the album.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: November 12, 2011 at 1:09
I remember the whiny, tuneless ballad "Wheeeeeere Are You Nooooowwww?" getting airplay on top-40 radio for a couple months in the spring of '89. AOR stations didn't go near it. The recent activity on this page is probably the most attention he's gotten in the 22 years since, and it's a French guy having his English criticized by a Scandinavian who isn't any better.

From: 123charpenay Date: November 12, 2011 at 8:45
to new scandi thanx for your answer and good week end.

From: newscandi Date: November 12, 2011 at 17:32
Doghouse Reilly didn't understand what I mean

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: November 13, 2011 at 4:03
No, I get it, even agree to an extent. You just maybe want to not be so hard on other folks' English, especially non-native speakers.

From: newscandi Date: November 13, 2011 at 10:01
I thought he was american.

From: 123charpenay Date: November 13, 2011 at 16:15

From: 123charpenay Date: November 13, 2011 at 16:16

From: 123charpenay Date: November 13, 2011 at 16:19

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: November 14, 2011 at 14:57
As an American myself, I have no idea how you could mistake him for one, no offense to Charpenay. But whatever.
