If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Kix CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Kix are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

In the press for this release, Kix seems to be downplaying the '93 live album, which is a little unfair, as that was a good record. But, I gotta say, Live In Baltimore is the definitive Kix live release, especially the DVD. Recorded on December 18, 2010, at Rams Head in Baltimore in front of a sellout crowd of hometown faithful, Kix delivers a set packed with high-energy rock 'n' roll, fan favorites, and Steve Whiteman's typical banter. It's too bad they opted to edit the show down to fit on one CD (although the iTunes download replaces all but the solos and "Same Jamn"), but it's all there on the DVD. Sound is raw but good, not bootleggy at all (trust me, I have a lot of Kix bootlegs). Highlights? Shit, there ain't no lowlights. No songs from Show Business (although the band does occasionally dust of "Book To Hypnotize" or "Baby Time Bomb," just not here), and "For Shame" is the only track from Cool Kids. Otherwise, each album is well-represented. An outstanding release all around.

Are you happy???,are you happy???...i'm happy!!!(Steve Whiteman, lead vocalist )...very HAPPY live recording indeed, the band sounds really compact...enjoyable stuff such as the classic "Cold Shower" & the energetic "Sex",a lot of fun in here...recommended...89/100

Rick, I saw Kix last summer in a little bar in Ocean City, Maryland. It's always "happy hour" when these guys are on stage, I can tell you. This DVD ain't no fluke; they really are that fuckin' good.

Taking the CD portion on its own merits, really the only issue I have with it is that it's sloppily edited in a couple places. During Steve's stage raps before "COld Shower" and again after "Midnite Dynamite," you can clearly hear where stuff has been cut out, as the crowd noise changes abruptly and quite obviously. Nitpicky, and maybe no way around it, but it immediately jumped out at me. On the other hand, you can't tell "Girl Money" is shortened up, snipping out the stuff that doesn't make any sense unless you can see it.
