Not much to say other than this disk absolutely ROCKS....Jack Klunder is an amazing vocalist while the rest of the band accentuates what Jack can do while Jack does the same for guitarist Pat Shepard. Brian and Mark keep the pounding rhythm going thru every song. Favorites include Heart Of Fire and Fatal Heatbreaker! screamin` scale of 1-10...off the scale..........10 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++ |

This is good stuff for those fans of American hard rock that just don't want to let go of the 80's. Lots of solo's, alot of heavy riffs and a vocalist not afraid to scream and sing it loud. Much in the vein of early Dokken or Steelheart for sure. |

A pleasant surprise not knowing what to expect when i first got this in 2001. Very melodic with great vocals. If i'm not mistaken, i think the production could have sounded better but regardless...a keeper. |

While I can't confirm for sure, I'm pretty sure both vocalist Jack Klunder & drummer Brian Eckert were involved with the band PARIS DAANE who released a Demo in 1989. There's very little information about either PARIS DAANE or SAHARA STEEL although it sounds like Jack singing on both recordings. If I were a betting man, I'd say there's a connection but I can't confirm any of it. Fans of BANGALORE CHOIR, SIRCLE OF SILENCE, STREAM, GYPSY ROSE, BULLET BOYS, LYNCH MOB, & STEELHEART might find some interest with both PARIS DAANE or SAHARA STEEL whether they're related or not. |

Very good release for SAHARA STEEL that will satisfy hard rock fans who like it oldschool! there s a strong hard edge in their sound, excellent guitar work and high vocals along with ok songs and they remind me of bands like RATT,BULLETBOYS,BRITNYFOX with out of course being that good!"fatal heartbreaker","back in trouble" and "good Girl gone bad " are nice rockers indeed |
