GENIAL

From: espo Date: January 10, 2004 at 17:19
This might be one of the most unknown "supergroup" in the history of AOR Robert Berry (Hush, 3), Gary Pihl (Boston, Sammy Hagar), Alan Fitzgerald (Night Ranger) and David Lauser (Sammy Hagar) really deserve a listen. If you're into stuff like Dakota "The Last Standing Man" or Departure "s/t", you will love it: is an old-fashionated, moody and measured accomplished AOR work. [P.V.: 87%]

A must have for all true AOR Fans ! 9\10

Just dug out the Japanese version of this one called 'Bond Of Union'. This version is quite alot different to the Escape version, in that it features a different mix(Less produced) and also features 5 different tracks. Get them both, then you'll have 17 tracks of class US Aor.

Another awesome AOR release that seems to be overlooked. I didn't know much about this one but I'm glad I picked it up. With influences from Boston, Sammy Hagar and Night Ranger, how can you go wrong. For all you AOR lovers, this one definately belongs in your collection.

From: kipvanpearcy Date: September 14, 2007 at 13:13
Good AOR CD, a mix of Honeymoon Suite and Bad English.

From: Photochromic Steve Date: December 2, 2008 at 13:10
I've been working my way through the Alliance albums in reverse order - so I listened to this after the disappointing "Missing Piece" album. That made it a pleasant surprise to find that their debut was such a good album. There's hardly a weak track on it. Their recent work "Road to Heaven" is a good album but this one is better.

From: darobinson Date: December 9, 2008 at 19:23
I must say that this just does not do it for me. These guys should be great! Some of the songs start out very strong and then turn weak for some reason. Robert Berry's voice while not terrible is so monotone. I guess I expected to much from this group and I was truly dissapointed. Many folks out there will really enjoy this, I am just not one of them. Just my two cents.....

From: Psyborg Date: June 25, 2009 at 14:10
A real classic one. Very good AOR with a special unique touch. There are also two hidden tracks on the CD. The first one is not so good, but I just love the latter song "A time to think about". Like mentioned above the mix is a little different compared to "Bond of Union". The instrumental parts have changed in details too. I like the Escape release better. But of course it lacks some valuable exclusive songs from the Japanese version like "Cross that line" and "This is the world".

From: happy2849 Date: December 9, 2010 at 12:33
Smooth by the numbers AOR. Another I find myself playing more than others. A few tracks are on the mellow side that I find refreshing at times.

From: edwithmj Date: October 2, 2011 at 20:17
Top notch AOR. My favourites are Turn Around, (The World Is) Changin' and the fantastic Endless Nights.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: October 9, 2011 at 19:13
Indeed edwithmj!!!...a great album!!!...faves songs o' mine are "True Meaning Of Love" by far the best song the band has ever recorded IMHO,"Hurts So Bad" & "Endless Nights" these others are also recommended:"Second Chance"(ala Giant),"Turn Around"(catchy),"So All Alone"(catchy rocking one),"(The World Is)Changin'"(nice song, nice chorus) & "Find A Way"...espo's comment of january 10,2004 is pretty accurate...88/100

album of 1997!!!

Great songs on this, saw it for a few £ and as it was an Escape release figured I'd fill out my ever extensive Escape catalogue. Didn't disappoint!
