not a bad album to be honest...if ya dig typical us metal from the 80's you should check this cd out..it has a great sound.Btw, was Emi canyon married to Mick mars?

From: 1_mans_junk Date: August 30, 2003 at 8:04
In response to tomcat - yes, I believe that they were married until shortly after Mick shot her. Yes, shot her! They were at a shooting range and Mick accidently shot her.

From: anamal Date: August 30, 2003 at 13:01
read the motley crue book.. the dirt.. and everything is explained by mick about the marriage..how he bought all the equipment for alice in thunderland and set them up in the studio to record..and then she left him for the guitar player (chet Thompson) and then the marriage ended

Does anyone out there know where I can find a copy of this. Would love to add it to my collection.

From: opallynn Date: June 22, 2004 at 13:32
I used to have a demo from the group...loved Emi's voice. She covered Jimi Hendrix's "Angel" I'd really love a copy of that again. On a side note - I grew up close friends with Mick's oldest son and daughter, met him and Emi a couple of times. It was the cheating, not the shooting, that collapsed the marriage. Sad.

From: opallynn Date: June 22, 2004 at 14:07
been thinking on this....I don't think it was even Emi that was accidentally shot, I think it was a girlfriend he had before they were married... not certain, but pretty sure.

Can we stick to talking about the muisc and not gossiping about the band members and who they shot or dated? That's what this site is for ... to rate the music. Not gossip!

From: mbl Date: July 30, 2004 at 18:41
I was the origional bass player in alice/n/thunderland if there is anything you want to know just ask.

From: Fsr4000 Date: August 2, 2004 at 23:38
Hey whatta you know, I was the original drummer in Alice 'n thunderland, and I gotta sneaking suspician that since I was there when this album art was commissioned, and those song titles sound awful similar to the titles I recorded with my friend above, and one of those song titles sounds a awful lot like a song I wrote 100%. This is probably me and the previous commenter playing on this record and not the guys listed.

From: brc Date: September 21, 2004 at 9:36
Hey mbl, Who are you? I'm an old fan & may know ya Also, who is fsr4000? Where can I find more info on this stuff?

Hey, anybody that may have a released copy of this record, please e-mail me at DENNISCLAN99@aol.com. I can't find a copy anywhere.

From: Fsr4000 Date: March 4, 2005 at 18:26
Hey,I finally got a copy of this today.Matt Sullivan, and Danny Wilder play on only 4 tracks, while Jeff Dennis and Mitch Laney play drums and bass on the other 7 tracks. Jeff Dennis and Mitch Laney were the original members of the band and the other two guys were replacements.Based on the Liner notes on the CD,a FRAUD has been perpetrated. They even photo-shopped the other guys faces on my and Mitch's bodies in the promo shot! Maybe Heavy Harmonies could update their site to reflect the truth.

I saw this band at Joshua's Parlour in Southern California. Would love to get a CD if anyone knows where. (I'll check from the posts above). I knew Emi Canyn (the correct spelling) before she was a Nasty Habit, or in She Rok, when her band was called Canon. She stayed at my apartment and I drove her to gigs in San Bernardino and Orange County. I do have a DEMO TAPE which must be exceedingly rare. Just yesterday I digitized it for posterity (and to make my own CD). It has no label, credits or an

First and foremost Danny wil be missed and always loved. Second when a person dies it seems everyone wants a peice of what doesnt belong to them. I am Danny's wife(widow) and I have the origanl demos and negatives for the album and promo packages. Look at the photos close, the tatoos are Dannys. And by the way he did not die from a heroin overdose, heart failure. The cd can be baught, its a great cd. Its too bad the band couldnt change for the better, but thats ROCK N ROLL. ANGEL WILDER (WALLER)

If you're into 80's style metal then this is for you.Lightning fast riffs, pounding claps of thunder, and wonderful melodic screaches of terror.Awesome cd.Not Bonjovish more balls.

From: Helix Date: October 28, 2006 at 10:44
Just for the song children burning this cd is worth having. But I won't lie this cd is just full of fillers and nothing more.Gave it a five.

From: chadf86 Date: April 4, 2007 at 13:15
I am Danny's cousin Chad and I know he was a very talented person as a musician. I would like to get a couple copys of this cd if possible from wildersangel I have never met you before but it would be nice to get in touch with you and maybe meet you sometime.

From: Rob Rocker Date: October 14, 2008 at 11:44
I got this off ebay because of the slight Motley Crue connection and thought it would be cool to add to my collection..... I was severely disappointed. The musicianship is good, Emi Canyon has a cool voice, but the songs are weak. There is nothing to any of these to catch your attention, no catchy guitar or vocal melodies. I have had it in my stereo for the last week trying to find something, but it's just not there. The songwriting (not the musicianship/performance) is "garage band" level at best.

From: Metal T Date: July 19, 2009 at 19:32
The chick's voice is decent enough, but for me the drawing card here was the Chet Thompson (Hellion) connection. That dude can play and suffice to say the bulk of his fretwork on this does not disappoint! The solos on 'Diggin A Grave','Heaven's Burning' and 'Prisoner' rip! Cool Lynch-sounding riff on 'Burnin Children'.
